Does your family or group of friends have an interesting or unique story to tell? Do you need a vacation? If so, you could be featured in a new TV series and have the chance to share your story – all while relaxing in a luxury vacation rental home at Deep Creek Lake. This new TV series is called “Getting Away Together” and will be aired on PBS stations nationwide starting in October 2011. We’d love to hear your stories! Tell us why your family or group is unique or what you have to celebrate – we encourage you to be creative and use photos and/or video! Send your submissions to [email protected] no later than May 15th, 2011. Groups must be available for filming September 6 – 14, 2011 and must provide their own transportation to Deep Creek lake. During the winter, the three waterfalls in the state park can have beautiful ice formations and offer a unique winter waterfall experience.* Highlighted in this video is Muddy Creek Falls, the largest free-falling waterfall in Maryland.
