In 2014, with Nancy Railey at the helm, RMLV accepted the challenge to elevate innovation and service; our two most recognized standards of success, in order to propel hospitality at Deep Creek Lake into the digital future. With the area’s largest portfolio of vacation homes, and the management of the lake’s only two lakefront condo hotels, we partnered with a European software company and launched five new websites to better serve our guests. Demand for convenient online booking and advanced payment technology pushed us to think creatively and find solutions that redefined efficiency through innovation.

This little detail makes the vacation home that you walk into feel like your own, but did you know that it is not a simple one to accomplish? In fact, Railey Mountain Lake Vacations has an entire department and professional equipment dedicated to managing the laundry we accumulate from over 9,000 reservations each and every year.
In the Summer of 2015, we averaged 17,500 pounds of laundry each week!
Many folks remember the winter of ‘96 as the year a severe nor’easter paralyzed the East Coast, dumping up to four feet of fresh powder. For Tom and Christine Morse, that year holds a different, albiet not completely unrelated, meaning. Tom and Christine were making memories in a vacation rental home, as they had for many years, with their cherished family and friends.
“Tom was across the street skiing with the older kids and I was home with all the little ones, when Nancy Railey came knocking at the door,” explains Christine. Nancy was there to check on the number of people staying at the home.
