How may we help you?

Winter is officially kicking off, as we’ve received a few inches of wet, heavy snow already at Deep Creek Lake.  Wisp Resort has set a tentative opening date of December 17th if they are able to lay down a sufficient snow base, and their 56th birthday celebration has been moved to December 18th and 19th.   We’ll be sure to update you whenever Wisp announces its grand opening.

The first snow of the season at Deep Creek Lake fell last weekend, burying many a pumpkin and giving us small taste of winter which many have referred to affectionately as “Snowtober”. The snow won’t stay around long, as high temperatures are forecast to be in the 40’s and 50’s for the next 10 days.

If you’re looking to get away to Deep Creek Lake for Thanksgiving, be sure to book as soon as possible for best availability!  Looking to spend more time with family and less with a frozen bird?  Wisp Resort is offering a Thanksgiving dinner that can either be picked up or delivered!  (Click here for more information on Wisp Resort’s Website) The package includes:

Upcoming holidays are filling quickly – don’t wait.  Already have a weekend in mind?

Wisp Resort has scheduled its grand opening for  Thursday,  December 9th.  Several days of light natural snowfall and extensive snow making by Wisp have built up a 12-24″ base.
