Timber lodge was just what we wanted for our stay in Deep Creek. My sisters and I had a great time - plenty of room, great lakeside hot tub and interior pool, and drop-dead lovely views of the Lake.

Great place to stay with the family.

Had long weekend with family. Total of 17 including kids with plenty of room. Indoor pool and the boat dock at house are perfect to keepnkids entertained. There was plenty of space for everyone. Well decorated and plenty of seating at dining table. There are small cosmetic things that would make it better around the house. Overall highly recommend for a big family trip.

The house was great for 19 women. Plenty of beds, bathrooms and lots of kitchen space. The dinning room table was so big we could all sit down at the same time and not have to eat in shifts. The pool was very nice. Our only complaints are that this size house needs to have a larger hot tub or two hot tubs. Regardless, I highly recommend this place.

Excellent location and great for large families and friends. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to prepare and eat meals. Pool and hot tub were wonderful. Loved having coffee in the morning in the Gazebo down by the water. Perfect in every way.

We got to the house, and it was a really nice house, and the next day we were going to go skiing so we called the snow plows to come shovel our driveway the day before multiple times, and they said they would come, but they never came. The next morning they still didn't come and we couldn't get out of the driveway. we ended up calling for a 5th time and they finally came, but we were supposed to go skiing at 10:00 and we ended up going at 11:00.

I'm sorry to hear about the plow delays! After the heavy snowfall, our vendors had a lot of ground to cover, and we appreciate your patience and understanding regarding the time it takes to complete the clearing process. We regret that your group lost a few hours on the slopes but hope that you had a fantastic time once you made it there. We visited Timberlodge over the long New Year weekend - there were 5 families of all generations. All of our expectations for space had been exceeded. Each family had their own area of the house and everyone had a bed. That’s hard to come by with so many people! The house was clean and fully stocked with kitchen tools and appliances. There were games and puzzles and even working VCRs. Since we had visited “off season” the indoor pool was a total game changer especially when it rained the last two days of our stay. There were a few minor maintenance issues but anything that needed to be communicated or fixed happened very quickly and cordially- we were continually impressed with the high level of communication from the realty group. We can’t wait to get another opportunity to stay at timberlodge again!

Our favorite memory was sitting by the fire pit outside making smores with the kids moment in the hot tub and the kids splashing around in the pool. Overall its a great house but a few tweaks would make it a much more pleasant home to rent.

Perfect location and layout of house. Enjoyed the fire pit outside each night by the lake and enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck looking at a perfect view of the lake. Everyone enjoyed having their own bedroom in this spacious home. The kitchen area was just as large to congregate and chat. Perfect get away weekend. The only issue we all agreed, was that we should have stayed longer!!

Great Vacation, Unsatisfied with House

This was a family vacation to celebrate our mother's 80th birthday. We had people come as far as Oregon with a total of 29 people. The location was great, the deck was awesome (we rented a boat for 5 of the days). Upon arriving at the house, we were all in awe of the beauty until we started settling in. We found more things wrong than we did right. I have listed the complaints by room below. We made one maintenance call and received quick service, but they were not able to fix the stove, water pressure (especially in 2 bathroom showers). Kitchen: Left dishwasher - hard to close door (hazard to run into) Main sink - spigot leaked Stove – could not use 3 of the 6 burners, burner ignition would not turn off (hazard) Dining Room: Table warped, uneven Chairs broken Living Room: Couches - ripped at the seams between the cushion and backs. Throw rug curled at corner - trip hazard for elderly and young children Cobwebs on several lamps Sliding Door/Screen door - very difficult to open and close Vacuum cleaner - bag was full and unable to use. There were no extra bags First Floor Suite: No shelf in shower to place shampoo and soap Bathroom vent broken Nightlight broken 1st Floor Laundry: Washer only worked on cold cycle Living Area Above Pool: Sitting area - Chair broken Shower pressure - poor, couldn’t rinse hair Cobwebs throughout Stain on carpet Loft: Pool table not level, pockets broken No air circulation, always hot Shower pressure in both showers was poor, couldn't rinse shampoo from hair Left side bedroom: dead fly and left over hair in shower, toilet moved when you sat Right side bedroom: trundle bed broken, only one working light bulb in bathroom, bathroom faucet was loose, toilet moved when you sat Lower Level: Damp - in the morning clothes and bedding were wet from dampness Jack and Jill bathroom vent exhaust didn’t work Dresser in one of the Jack and Jill bedrooms, had a broken leg and was a serious tip hazard Outside: One deck baluster wasn’t screwed in at the bottom, small child almost fell through. Ping pong table broken/uneven. Unable to play Cobwebs throughout the entire patio. The whole house needed power washed and windows cleaned. Fall leaves - pulling gutter apart with leaves Electric outlets near gutter, rain splashed making it unsafe to use outlet Hot tub dirty and not hot enough often- you couldn’t see the control screen to see about changing the temp. No grass in yard for children to play Large sections of felled trees along walkway to dock. As if large trees were felled and wood was left there. (Hazard for children) Throughout entire house, paint and drywall was chipped. All return air vents were dirty and needed replacement filters or thorough cleaning. General consensus was house was very poorly cleaned. The group would never rent this house again and would think twice about renting from Railey depending on the outcome of this review. The rental was a lot of money and we didn't get our monies worth.

Perfect for our large group of about 40(We rented adjacent home Laurel Cove as well) Gentle grade to the water with well maintained boardwalk was perfect for our 87 y/o mother. Private dock is key with a large group. Would rent again with no reservations

The house was big enough that with the amount of people staying in it we did not feel like we were on top of each other. The weather was bad so we couldn't use the outside amenities but it was still a great trip.

Very spacious house. Beds were so comfortable. Kitchen was large and had all the pots and pans we needed. House was great for all our guests. We enjoyed the pool and pool table. Loved the two refrigerators and dishwashers.

Was great and clean . Someone came everyday to check pool levels. Had snow one night and there was a snow plow the next day without making a call top notch. Had a few minor maintenance issues but nothing that interferes with our plans. Riley was well organized and always got a person on the phone. Was well informed of COVID-19 updates. I even saved money for being a veteran. Will absolutely work with this company again. Big shout out to all the people involved in making are stay a wonderful experience.

They could use some beach chairs & beach toys. However, the kitchen was very well stocked with glasses, dishes & silverware! The master bedroom’s bed was very comfortable.

Great House for Large Groups

This house really accommodates large groups very well. The bedrooms allow for separation from the group when needed, ample kitchen and eating space, well appointed with plenty of small appliances, dishes and utensils. A couple small deficiencies: plenty of knives, but none were sharp, frying pans were few and in poor shape, and large pots were plentiful, but medium and small pots could not be found. Other than that house was great with easy access to dock. Plenty of deck space. Although it was advertised as having a charcoal grill, we were pleasantly surprised to find it was a gas grill. Pool was a big hit with the kids! We had 7 large vehicles and had no problem parking.

Our church ladies hold our spring retreat in Timberlodge and keep coming back because it is perfect for our group! The bedrooms are spacious and the common areas are just right for our gatherings. The dining room table can seat 18 people easily, and with the kitchen bar seating 3 right beside it, we can all sit together. We will keep coming back!

My family came to celebrate my husbands birthday and a great time was had by all. The home is beautiful, spacious, and very well kept. There were 26 of us, and we did not feel crowded at all. There were a few issues that we reported and they were immediately addressed. One of the upper level bedrooms was freezing cold, even though we adjusted the heat. We visited in the middle of winter so working to heat the home was an important task. Maintenance came out within the hour and adjusted some hidden vents. Once we got the fireplace going, and all vents opened, the house began to heat up. Also, one of the pullout beds in the basement was broken. Again, this issue was addressed by maintenance supplying us with an air mattress. There were also a couple TVs with no remotes; this was minor but still an inconvenience when you are trying to relax and have to keep getting up to turn the channel. Overall, I would definitely come back to vacation at Timberlodge! It's a beautiful home and great memories were created!

We gathered a large group to celebrate my 40th birthday at Timber Lodge. Since we were all a little older we wanted to find a property that would allow all of the couples to have their own rooms. Timber Lodge was perfect! The open floor plan connected the great room, dining room, and kitchen so we could all hang out together. The indoor pool was also a great amenity, especially considering how bitter cold it was outside. We would recommend Timber Lodge to any large group looking for a vacation rental in Deep Creek, and with only a 10 minute drive to Wisp, it is great for skiers too!
