DESCRIPTION:
Fern Adventures is a modern masterpiece and easily one of the area’s most unique getaways! This mountain home, nestled amongst the trees, is full of luxurious amenities and thoughtful touches. Gather in the spacious living room to curl up by the stone fireplace or, come summer, open the room’s enormous pocket doors to let the fun spill outside to the expansive deck. The large kitchen looks out over the great room and comes equipped with gorgeous granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, gas stove, and sleek cabinetry. The screened porch with stone fireplace and electric heaters was made for enjoying a glass of wine with loved ones, or for sipping a morning coffee and watching the light creep up over the trees. Outside, the large deck and unique fire pit are perfect for an evening spent under the stars. With the wide open spaces, clean minimalism balanced with comfortable furnishings, and the abundance of natural light and fresh mountain air, it won’t be hard to unwind on your vacation!

house is absolutely beautiful & is even better in person. it was clean, spacious, & check-in was so simple/easy. they provided far more household items than i expected & that worked great for our large group. my only complaint is the low water pressure in the shower, but other than that, incredible property!

My family & I spent Thanksgiving here. Although the home was clean, beautiful, and was in a great location, unfortunately the oven had stopped working twice during our stay. The maintenance workers for Railey Vacations were a great help and thankfully were able to send someone on thanksgiving day!

Such a beautiful and clean house, wonderful amenities, furnishings (LOVED the sofa) and kitchen ware. We enjoyed the puzzles found in the laundry room, the many fireplaces and outdoor amenities. So much seating around the island and dining table as well. We were disappointed with the bedding considering other upgrades throughout the house. The beds would be far more comfortable w better sheets and pillows, most of us did not sleep well w the existing unfortunately. Keyless entry would also be a convenient feature. Otherwise we adored this house.

This home is absolutely stunning 😻😻...the pictures actually do it no justice. My group of friends came for a private "Mini Engagement party/ Friends Weekend" it was amazing "Fern adventures owes us nothing.... The screen room is perfectly created and attached to the master room it was my favorite place to be in the home as well as the kitchen...it came fully loaded. Eating at the counter/ breakfast bar.. it had seats for atleast 6 ppl which was perfect for my crew. My only wish was that the TV worked in the master room it came on but needed batteries I replaced the batteries but still the TV didn't work. I also wish it was tvs in the other bedrooms. Also the showers are beautiful but those stones on the floor of it do bother your feet while showering warm them by running hot water awhile before. Other than that the home is perfect.😉😁

Main disappointment, the lawns (front & back) needs done. There’s grass & weeds surrounding the fire pit which made it impossible for us to use. This was the highlight of the pictures of the house. Some minor dust & spiderwebs that we cleaned ourselves. However, disappointing when tenants are charged housekeeping fees.

Beautiful home! Just like the pictures! All the kitchen supplies needed for a variety of meals. Lots of space to spread out, and the outside areas were lovely. Lots of wildlife to view daily. SO many deer! Definitely would recommend if others are having an event to celebrate.

Great long weekend

We rented this home to celebrate a birthday with my parents as well as our children. The home was insanely beautiful inside and out. My wife and I love this design of home so it was right up our alley. There is plenty of room for everyone to enjoy themselves and the great room is such a perfect gathering place for eating, movie night, a fire, games, you name it. The house is well built so unlike a lot of other homes we rented there isn’t much noise from others walking around which made it nice if you tuck in early or are a late sleeper. One thing to watch out for is the thermostats. They are Nest Learning ones so they learned to cool the house down around check out time. When it’s 0 outside you can feel the temp drop quickly so just need to constantly check them to make sure they are at your comfort level.

We had an amazing time celebrating my husbands 30th birthday at this home. We enjoyed the hot tub and multiple fire pits throughout the stay. This home was perfect for enjoying the outdoors and was great for a rainy day indoors. We would definitely book this home again.

Very cool house. It is not your typical Deep Creek log cabin. The decor/design is very modern European design. Bedrooms spread out so you have privacy. Very quiet neighborhood. Screen in lanai has a bed and everyone wanted to sleep in there one night or more. It was like you were camping. Very nice deck area, living room, and kitchen. Quirky cabinet doors but interesting design.

Close to the road, can see cars go by while in the hot tub. Master bed very squeaky! Anytime you have to get out of bed, inevitably you wake up your partner. Was worried that houses were being built around the house, but overall quiet.

Great house with awesome views! Saw lots of wildlife - many bear, deer, chipmunks and groundhogs! Loved the layout of the house - and the kitchen had everything we needed and then some! We highly recommend this place - even for larger groups everyone would still have their own sleeping quarters and they are separated so it feels like you are alone, but the common areas are awesome as well!

It was a wonderful get-away, the house is beautiful, comfortable, and cozy with many amenities that contributed to the great time had by all. We were a group of eight and everyone enjoyed their stay immensely. There were a couple of details that were missed, the landscaping near the entrance to the front door was extremely overgrown and requires immediate trimming, also there was debris and large spider webs on the house near the entrance and lighting that should be removed to improve first impressions of the property. Once these minor oversights are remedied Fern Adventures would be just perfect!!

We had so much fun at this house! It’s absolutely stunning and oh-so-cozy. The home allows for an amazing gathering space while also providing lots of privacy if traveling with family or friends with children.
