This house has SO much space! We initially had booked a 6-BR home for our annual family Deep Creek Thanksgiving, and it was sold and our reservation was cancelled just one week before Thanksgiving. The Railey team worked REALLY hard to be as helpful as possible, putting a hold on the mere (four) 5-BR homes that were left unrented. This meant my 72-year old mom and her 60-year old brother had to share a room, so they stayed in the HUGE master. We were all very comfy in this home. The two master bedrooms are very large. They have en-suite showers and jacuzzi tubs, which are quite dated but very clean. The three downstairs bedrooms all share one bathroom. There are two living room areas with nice furniture, and there is a reading nook, and a separate game room. The kitchen has LOADS of counter space, and there are two dorm-sized fridges in the home along with the kitchen one, which is AWESOME. The kitchen is also VERY well stocked, and though we usually pack up so much of our own kitchen stuff, we were excited to see the two coffee pots, a crock pot, cutting boards, plenty of knives, lots of glassware and dishes. There is strangely not enough silverware, but we did bring disposable with us. The driveway is steep and has quite a pitch, and is hard to find (Waze and Google both stop you at the house, which you need to overshoot and look for the trash cans to find the driveway). There is ample parking. You have to take steps down into the home, and there are no treads on them, so with these two things combined, a deep winter vacation would be iffy in this home. It's also worth mentioning that the game room is only accessible by going outside and walking up the stairs, and there is no bathroom in the game room.

Labor Day at Lakeside Paradise

We had a great Labor Day Weekend at Lakeside Paradise. The house and amenities were great. A special addition was renting the homeowner's boat and their "boat concierge" was of great help and service.

Large house with Great Lake access, however needs some improvements/items fixed.

The house was is large with a great location. We rented kayaks for the week and being lake front made using them daily fun. The interior of the house could use some finishing touches, one bedroom was clearly being fixed due to a water leak and the game room pool table and foosball were in need of repair. The open concept main floor was great for the whole group to hang out in, but the kitchen oven was small and made cooking a bit of a challenge for our family of 8. A huge positive was the beds were great compared to other places we have stayed and the furniture was very appealing, loved the couches and chairs on the main level.
