DESCRIPTION:

Your vacation destination awaits you here at Bear and Grin Inn! With stunning lakefront views, bright windows, and spacious rooms, this luxurious home provides the upmost level of comfort and will wrap you in warmth. Located in the Waterfront Greens community, this home gives you easy access to a canoe/kayak station, fishing pond, tennis courts, mini-golf, Par-3 golf, sledding hills and many other fun activities while still being only a short drive away from local attractions. Wake up feeling refreshed with a hot cup of coffee out on the screened-in porch, then take a brisk morning walk around the neighborhood. Regardless of the season there is plenty to do! During the colder months pack up your snow gear and hit the slopes for a day of skiing or snowboarding where there are trails for levels of experience. In the summer, rent a boat for the afternoon and go sailing across the lake. Then dock at one of the many nearby restaurants for a gourmet meal on the water! After an adventure-filled day, head home for an evening of relaxation. Start up the grill outside for a home cooked family dinner or relax those muscles in the warm bubbles of the hot tub. Finish the evening in front of the fireplace enjoying a movie together and sharing your favorite vacation memory!


ACCESS DETAILS:
Lake Access and Dock Slip are located down the path from the back of the home. Follow the path to a gazebo and the docks. It is a short 5 minute walk from the home to the dock. Please note that docks are only guaranteed from Memorial Day through Labor Day.


COMMUNITY/AREA DETAILS:
Located in the Waterfront Greens Community at Deep Creek Lake.

This home comes with free access to the Community Aquatic Recreation Center (CARC)! This fitness and wellness complex, located in the central Deep Creek Lake area, offers a modern gym and a full-size indoor pool. The free CARC membership is available to all guests in the home for the duration of your stay, up to the home’s full occupancy.

Fun Dunk and Ski weekend

We had a fun filled skiing and dunking weekend. The house was perfect to travel to the WISP to ski (park in the upper lot, no one parks there) and join the fun of the Deep Creek Dunk. The house was so cozy, especially the hot tub and fire places after our adventures. We will be coming back to enjoy the pickleball on the driveway, lake and golf course in the warmer months. Such a fun place to visit. Thank you for sharing your awesome house.

This house was wonderful. The open first floor with a huge kitchen, fireplace, and large deck provided a great place to hang out with friends and family. The view of the lake from the back deck was gorgeous! The kitchen had everything that we needed for cooking large dinners. The bedrooms all have comfortable king beds with bathrooms and were perfect for our all of us. We loved the brand new hot tub even on a cold December night. The bottom level is another great area to hang out with a fireplace and comfortable sofas and a foosball table. We will most certainly be back.

Luxurious cabin living at the lake

Our family had the pleasure of spending Thanksgiving at the Bear and Grin Inn, and let me tell you, it was fabulous! We love to cook, and the huge kitchen had everything needed - including a big ol’ table for us to all sit around. Dinner easily transitioned to game night without having to move! The living room has the most comfortable couch, on which I took several naps. We all piled on to watch movies with the kids after dinner and games while the fireplace roared. There are a lot of bedrooms, and we were all pleased with our sleeping accommodations. My favorite thing is that every bedroom has its own bathroom, so you really couldn’t go wrong! My great aunt who uses a wheel chair came with us, and the first floor master suite and open floor plan provided great access and plenty of space for her to easily get around. It was pretty chilly for our visit, but the back deck was really nice. I’d really like to experience it again in warmer weather. Next time, I’ll bring my clubs, because the golf course is right across the street. Everyone found something to do — The kids took some poles and went fishing at the pond up the way. I like to walk outside for exercise, and it was really peaceful around the property with no traffic. At night, we made a fire and sat around the pit. The hot tub was great - the kids wouldn’t get out of there! Everyone was happy! We had a really lovely holiday. I don’t know if this place has a tagline or anything, but if you are looking for luxurious cabin living at the lake, look no further than the Bear and Grin Inn!

Level open space to walk the lake

We loved how it was such a short level walk to the lake. We were able to get a mile walk in on the lakes edge that was snow covered and the lake had some ice on it. So relaxing and rejuvenating. It was so nice to come back to a cozy fire in the house and enjoy the family in the very comfortable living room.

A Memorable Time

What an enjoyable time with friends and family! The house is great for accommodating large groups. With a fully stocked kitchen, meals were easily prepared and enjoyed. Grilling out was a great option. The spacious living room provided ample room for socializing and sitting by the fire. Sitting on the deck provided a beautiful view while enjoying our morning coffee with the seasonably mild weather. The quietness of the outside was therapeutic, while capturing the gorgeous morning sunrise. At night, the sky was scattered with stars. The house also boasts a new hot tub, which was refreshing after a local hike in the woods. Time spent by the fire pit was a memorable way to end a day. The house was perfect for creating lasting memories!
