Great fire pit

Stayed at Morningside Lodge with my daughter and family for a few days. It gave me great opportunity to sit by the campfire and watch nightfall come. The lake view is serene in the morning and also the evening. We watched ducks, birds, and boats. Although we don’t have a boat, there is a dock there to use if you are lucky enough to have a boat or jet ski. Having a hot cup of morning tea and sitting on the lakeside deck, paradise!

We love vacationing at Morningside Lodge! The home is o centrally located that we can enjoy all of the wonderful things that Deep Creek has to offer. The lake is right there and is just BEAUTIFUL in the morning - perhaps the reason for the name!? :-) We love that there are bedrooms on different levels, and a master on the main level for my mom who doesn't want to be upstairs. The firepit is GREAT for cooking out with our large family - so much room for the kids to play and for us to have s'mores. We will definitely be back again!

Great place for larger families

This is a great place for larger families. There were 12 total family members, with ages ranging from 3 months to 65 years old, and we still had enough space to spread out and enjoy some quiet time when needed. I think the bed issue noted in previous reviews must have been addressed because our beds did not feel as firm as others described. Place was clean, check in/out was easy, and overall we’d happily book here again.

Decent place

overall place is good. Two things to keep in my before booking. Street noise in the night since property is on the main road and tons of traffic and mindful with children. Mattress are very outdated and hard to sleep on them. Replace them on the 2nd floor

Great house with a lot of space, beautiful view, and nice outdoor area. But there are two negatives about the house. There's a lot of traffic noise from the main highway in front of the house and the beds are extremely uncomfortable.
