DESCRIPTION:
Wisp Watch is a three level home, located in the picturesque Lake Pointe community, that boasts a location that is almost too good to be true.  As the name implies, this home is located just across the street from the Wisp Resort, allowing you to watch the ski slopes from the comfort of home or take a quick jaunt across the street to experience the action firsthand. Summer days allow you to enjoy Deep Creek Lake, hit up the Wisp Resort’s mountain coaster, canopies, zip lines, and mountain biking trails, while winter is perfect for skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, and snow tubing. The tennis court is just steps away.  No matter the season, it is always easy to get out and explore the great outdoors with restaurants, attractions, and state parks just a short drive away. After a long day around the lake or night on the town, retreat back to Wisp Watch to luxuriate in top amenities such as an outdoor hot tub, pool table, charcoal grill, dual gas fireplaces, and so much more. Approximately .2 miles to Wisp Lodge Ticket Window with access to all slopes. Distance includes walk out of community, across Marsh Hill Road and through Wisp parking area. Slope availability does vary throughout the season. View Wisp Resort trail map here. Lake access can be accessed through the common access point in the northeast corner of the development. This is located across from our property Rapture. Lake access is for swimming and fishing only, No Dock Slip

The Ideal Ski House--Spotless and Super Convenient!

What a fantastic rental! Everything was exactly as advertised, and the house was spotless when we arrived. The beds were super comfortable, and we loved being able to walk directly across the street to the ski lifts. Highly recommend this house for a ski trip.

Great Wisp watch

This property had everything you could want and more. Kitchen was large enough for a few cooks in the room with all the amenities you could ask for and more. The dining table was the perfect size for our family of 9-10. You could fit up to 14 people. The outside deck had two tables to allow outside dining. There was a fire pit outside which you need to bring your own wood (which was fine). Bedrooms were spacious and the basement had a pool table and lounge area with a mini fridge. Excellent home!! We highly recommend it!

We enjoyed our stay at Wisp Watch. Location was great. We enjoyed the fire pit and deck because we had great weather. The house was clean and comfortable; has all the basic necessities for cooking. Checking in and out wasn’t as seemless as we would have liked but overall it was a great stay.

We had a great time -- house was spacious and clean. Pool table and hot tub were great and the location to Wisp cannot be beat -- literally across the street! Only downside was having to pickup a physical key from the office versus having a code, but it's okay. Will stay again!

I went on this trip with some work friends and we had an awesome time! Railey is always great to book with and I enjoyed how spacious and central this unit was. Huge rooms and nice main areas. The only negatives are that the hot tub decreased in temperature the longer you were in it and you had to pick up the keys for this rental in the office.

The house is very clean and just as the pictures described. Everything was working, the beds are comfy. The view of the ski resort from the balcony is amazing. We enjoyed the fire pit and roasting marshmallows. The experience was in getting the for lit with the wind blowing.

Our stay at Wisp Watch was great! The location was perfect, right across the street from Wisp. While the quick drive over to the Wisp parking lot is easy to do, you can also walk across the street if you feel comfortable carrying your gear. The house is lovely with lots of space and a great kitchen that is fully stocked with utensils and cookware. I recommend limiting your total number of cars to 4 instead of the listed 5. The parking area for the house can really only fit 4 cars unless you park the 5th perpendicular and behind the other 4. Overall great home, great location, and definitely would stay here again!

We had a WONDERFUL time at Wisp Watch! Our family was there for the Thanksgiving weekend, Wednesday- Sunday and everything was perfect. The home was spotless and very well equipped. The furnishings were lovely and better than the pictures as they had added a few items. It was even decorated for Christmas which delighted our Grandchildren. We turned on the outside lights as they arrived and they were just thrilled!! We would stay again and highly recommend!! A memory making weekend, for sure!!

We really enjoyed this house. It was a fit great for our families that stay the weekend. Convenient to everything that was around us that we wanted to go to like the grocery store, gas station, arcade for the kids and close to much more. All the neighbors were friendly. We are already making plans to stay sometime next year! Thank you!

Wisp Watch was clean and comfortable, and the number of bedrooms and bathrooms was perfect. The younger crowd enjoyed the pool table in the basement. Check in and check out process was also easy.

Our family had a great time at Wisp Watch. There were 12 of us staying in the home, and there was plenty of space for all of us, including my father who was using a walker at the time. The location was perfect, right across the street from Wisp Resort.

Great 5 day stay over the Presidents Day holiday long weekend. Family gathering of 13 people and the facility was perfect. As advertised. No surprises. Closest home to Wisp ski area. Just walk across the street which we did multiple times a day. Great for large families. Our reunion was perfect. So many bedrooms all with bathrooms. Great facility.
