2016 marks a special milestone for Deep Creek Lake’s indulgent lakefront luxury condo-hotel, the Suites at Silver Tree, celebrating 10 years of success. Built from 2004 and finished in 2006 on the 2.8 acres plot adjacent to the former Silver Tree Inn Restaurant, the 51 unit, two building condominium complex opened for rentals on Memorial Day weekend in 2006.
The concept and creation was managed by the DCL Development group and built by Allegheny Restoration that sub-contracted out additional work to local contractors during the two year build. There are four different styles of suites offering a Studio or One-Bedroom that each accommodates up to four people, as well as the Studio with Loft or One-Bedroom with Loft that accommodates up to six people. There is also lake view or standard view options available in each type. Every suite has a kitchenette, gas fireplace, full bathroom, king or queen size bed, sleeper sofas, and upscale décor.
What is unique about the hotel is that each condo is privately owned and all renting units operate under a uniform hotel policy. This means each suite has the same look, décor, and matching amenities. There are a few variances with sizes of beds, square footage, and additional small appliances, but when you stay at the Suites at Silver Tree you can expect the same interior experience in all of our suites. We also have some exceptional amenities on-site for our guests like the fitness room, sauna, arcade, complimentary DVD rentals, reading loft, expansive lobby with three native stone floor to ceiling fireplaces, lakefront swimming area, lawn, surrounding decks, and much more. Also on-site is the Silver Tree Marina and Dutch’s at Silver Tree restaurant and Harbor Bar with lakefront docks. Enjoy boating during the day and fine dining with great cocktails, all right at the resort.
