We’ve seen drastic color changes over the weekend, and peak colors aren’t far off. If you’re coming up to Deep Creek Lake this weekend you should be in for a good show of color – and hopefully some good photo opportunities.

Fall is right around the corner – and the question on your mind might be “What does it look like up there right now?” We’ll try to do this regularly, or as conditions change. Right now – smaller trees under the main forest canopy are starting to show bright colors. The larger trees that make up the canopy are currently dull green with a some scattered color.
The next time you’re up at Deep Creek Lake, stop by the Adventure Sports Center International (ASCI). ASCI is one of only two recirculating whitewater courses in the United States with adjustable rapids. Experienced guides help make the experience informative, fun, and safe. Don’t feel like getting wet? ASCI has plenty of room for spectators, and a walking trail around the entire course.
