    Ski Area homes and units are within a 1mi driving distance to Wisp Resort Ticket Window and/or Lift Access. Ski Area homes may require you to drive a very short distance and/or cross a road by foot. Some homes under Lake Front, Lake Access or Lake Area may also be considered a Ski Area property.

You will be captivated from the moment you enter Arcadia, a place of unmatched beauty, unspoiled nature, and immense charm. Grill out on the back deck while the kids run, crazy and free, along the level lot, racing to the lake and back with their friends. Designed and equipped with every comfort and amenity in mind, Arcadia is the perfect Deep Creek vacation retreat. In the summer, bask in the delight of the private dock. And in the winter, take a quick walk over to chair lift #5 for a thrilling day at the Wisp Resort.

This fitness and wellness complex, located in the central Deep Creek Lake area, offers a modern gym and a full-size indoor pool. Great property for adults

With plenty of king beds and bathrooms to go around, this property was perfect for our adults only vacation. Lake access is simple (no steep incline or trees to work through) and the view is beautiful. Dual fridges, stand alone ice maker, and plenty of available storage in the kitchen were also great features.

A Very Thorough and Honest Review: Ultimately

I like to leave the kind of reviews that I’d hope to see when looking at a new property, so please forgive the length!PROS of this house are many! All of the bedrooms have comfortable, seemingly high-quality KING beds, which is rare for rentals in this area. The driveway is incredibly spacious and convenient to use, which is also rare, particularly for lakefront homes. The view of the lake is stunning, the walk to the water is very accessible, and of course, the private dock is amazing to have. Overall, themes for this house would be convenient, spacious, and generally high quality. CONS of this house are comparatively few but nonetheless noticeable. The dock is situated in a lake weed forest which makes swimming unpleasant and even briefly disabled our boat as the weeds were so thick they jammed the propeller. I imagine this issue was made worse by the historically low water levels of the lake this year. The geese were also a huge problem. Though the owners are clearly aware and doing what they can to mitigate the issue, we nonetheless spent several hours of our vacation scrubbing the dock after the geese blanketed it in poop every night. Nothing we tried to discourage them seemed to work. We also had some minor issues like the fact that the house did have very low water pressure throughout all the bathrooms and even the kitchen (also the upstairs toilet is quite loose and wiggles a lot when in use), and either the owners or previous renters did decide to leave some very politically charged materials around that made several of our family members uncomfortable (particularly the ones regarding abortion).Ultimately, this is a wonderful home. Our stay was defined by convenience, comfort, and beauty, so much so that even the lake weed and goose poop could not put a dent in the joy we experienced! We thought we’d found our forever home—the place to which we’d return every year as our family grew—and while I do wish that was true, we were informed at the end our stay that the rate we’d paid for our stay (just over $6,000) was actually steeply discounted and that booking for the same time next year would be nearly twice as much (just over $12,000). While the house is gorgeous, we simply cannot justify the costs and so won’t be returning, but we will always fondly remember Arcadia and be grateful for the memories we got to make!

Beautiful home extremely well stocked with everything you may need during your stay. We appreciated the helpful instructions all around the house for operating lights, electronics, etc. The hot tub, fire pit and large yard were enjoyed by all. There is a lot of seaweed around the dock but it only deterred the adults from swimming - the kids didn't mind it and were in the water every day. We rented a pontoon boat and did a lot of fishing off the dock and around the lake. There is so much to do and so many good places to eat within just a few miles of the home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return to Deep Creek in the future!

House is amazing! The large yard was a huge plus for our group. Kitchen remodel is top notch and having 2 full refrigerators was a major plus! Love love love that this home has all King beds. So hard to find homes that do for adult groups. Would book this house again for sure.

Our three families with kids of all ages had an amazing time. The rooms were spacious, everyone loved the game room, and the boat dock was great for renting a pontoon boat for a day trip. Can’t wait to come back.

One of the best features of the home is that yard, an easy slope to the water, small beach for the little kids and a dock to jump off for the bigger kids. Plus tons of Pine’s that boarder the property for tons of privacy. Large open floor plan, large bedrooms, everything was clean and in good condition. We look forward to another week next summer.

Spacious home with great amenities. The view of the lake is spectacular and it is one of the first houses you encounter on the lake so very easy access. Had a great time! (Reviewed on Airbnb)

Property was everything we expected it to be and more. Even though it rained a few nights, it was so much to do in the house that the fun never stopped. From the adults to the youngest child, there was something for everyone to do and enjoy. I absolutely loved this house and no one wanted to leave. Highly recommended!

Everything was absolutely perfect! The one thing we would mention is that the refrigerator smelled like fish so we bought some baking soda to see if that would help… It really didn’t. Otherwise we had an absolutely wonderful stay and would definitely rent Arcadia again!!!!

Lovely home in a great location. A steep walk up a hill to get to slopes but makes it easy when coming home. You can see the chair lift from the front porch. Plenty of room for 5 couples. There are two double beds that we wish were at least queen size. Some nice modern updates to parts of the house. A bar downstairs would be awesome! Love the poker room and gas stove. Beautiful windows. Hot tub was great. The two skylights in the master are brutally bright especially in the morning when waking up. Wish there was a way to cover them. The silver lining inside the skylight tube reflects the sunlight and it’s so bright feels like the lights are on! Great fire pit and enjoyed the games available.

House was spacious, view amazing, kitchen fully equipped, favorite room is the sun room, very satisfied! Close to the skiing resort, can’t wait to come again in the summer to enjoy the lake.

Great extended family long weekend

This house was perfect for our large family. We loved the view of the lake and access to it. We rented a boat one day and it so easy to take groups out from the house. The boys enjoyed the large backyard playing football. The kitchen is much bigger than it looks on the pictures. Our favorite room was the closed in porch. We enjoyed playing games with the view. There was plenty of table seating for our dinners. We loved the fire pit each day and night.

We were there with our son and his family. The grandchildren loved the little beach at the end of the yard. The fire pit was perfect. I loved the porch.

We just got back from spending a perfect week at Deep Creek Lake lodging at Arcadia. This spacious home really has everything we needed ( I was really impressed with how well the kitchen was stocked with cookware and bakeware- not to mention all the great utensils , including those for grilling. We had 7 adults and 3 grandchildren so the five bedrooms were well utilized. The inside spaces for family gatherings were very large and we loved all the outdoor spaces- the screened porch, the huge back balcony deck ( great spot for morning tea and coffee), the nice long flat yard and fire pit which we used most nights. We took our boat so the dock was a nice accommodation along with a space to park our boat trailer. The hot tub and air hockey, pool table and fooseball provided lots of fun. We would definitely rent again. Thanks for a lovely vacation!

The house was great overall. The kids loved the hot tub and the deck looking out on the lake was lovely. There were some minor maintenance issues which Railey addressed after we called.

Have been using Railey for 15 years as our family size changes we have been in many homes. We stayed in Arcadia 3 years ago and the closed in porch and bedroom in the converted garage is great for a family with small children. The bedroom downstairs had my granddaughter who is pregnant and their queen size bed was little small for her and her husband. They have a king size at home. Their son slept on the mattress in the closet and was a wonderful addition for several bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped and spacious. We were wondering if they are added more bedrooms over their new garage? We will be back next year, just not sure where yet. My vote is Arcadia.

Arcadia exceeded our expectations! There was plenty of room for our 6 adults and two 3 year olds. We could gather together or split up on different floors. We had been told there was no fire pit but we were excited that was wrong information. The kitchen had tons of pots and pans, dishes and utensils, including sharp knifes. All in all, Arcadia had it all. We were sad to leave.

This property is exactly what we need for our family 0f 14. Just the right amount of bedrooms with the right size beds. The lot allows for all sports we like to play. The dock is perfect for our boat and jet ski. It allows entry to the water for the little ones. The fence on the property keeps the ducks away. The furnishings are up to date and the parking is terrific. Always an amazing house for us. Thank You

We had the greatest time at Arcadia from July 20-27. We had 11 guests ranging in age from 4-63. The house was even better than the description and online pictures. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect. Very close to the grocery store, ice cream, mini golf and wisp resort. The deck and 4 seasons room were a wonderful place to hang out and the outdoor furniture was great!! The sky lights in the new main floor master were a bit brighter than we would have liked. We would LOVE if there were a ladder on the dock. The 3 little ones had a blast jumping off the dock but had to either swim to shore or have an adult struggle to pull them back up to the dock. We couldn’t find the puck and paddles for the air hockey table, which has a little disappointing. This house is amazing and we hope to return!!

Booked this home last minute for family Thanksgiving trip. Our family truly enjoyed the home; it was very spacious, and well stocked. The house was very clean and beds were comfortable. We would recommend this home to any family or group. The views were amazing. The location of the home was very convenient to local restaurants, and the mountain coaster. Would return!
