The accommodations were great and a wonderful view of the slopes and the lake. Easy access to the top of the mountain for skiing, and plenty of parking. My family enjoyed the spacious and clean townhouse. Would definitely stay there again!!

Lovely 3 bedroom mountain/lake view home! Plenty of areas for guests to sleep on sofa beds as well. Beautiful kitchen with granite countertops. Was able to cook if we wanted but also close to restaurants. Plan on return trip in the future!

The place was nice, but needs to be cleaned better and back porches need to be power-washed.

Duck Duck Moose is a perfect home for a getaway with family and/or friends. The first impression is the fantastic view of the lake soon after you open the front door. The location is convenient and all of the activities of the lake are in easy reach. With 3 bedrooms and 3 /12 baths there is plenty of space and room to spread out. Duck Duck Moose is luxurious with a large well stocked kitchen, high ceilings and comfortable furnishings. The spacious well appointed deck is perfect for viewing the lake and relaxing, There is a nice gas grill and plenty of seating for enjoying a meal outdoors - the perfect gathering place in between the activities that Deep Creek Lake has to offer. There is also an outdoor hot tub on the lower level which just adds one more thing on your vacation to-do list. We would definitely rent this property again and will certainly recommend it to friends and family.

We had a great time at Duck Duck Moose. Plenty of space, great views, and we loved the pool table! Unfortunately the HOA chooses to keep the pool and tennis courts closed even though they are permitted to be open. Any issues at the house were minor, the hot tub cover needs replaced and the plastic chairs on lower patio were broken.

Came up for a 3 day weekend with my hubby, our two teenagers, and their two guests. The house was beautiful and the view was breathtaking! The kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfy. Everyone loved the hot tub. The layout of the house allowed the teens to stay up late playing pool with the radio on, while we had quiet time upstairs. Would definitely book again, when schedule permits!

We first want to give a shout-out to Jessica, who really came through for us when our car keys went home in a snow storm 2 days before we were ready to leave. She helped us add another night, so the keys could find their way back to us. The house is wonderful with the little touches for a family with dogs and young children. We were comfortable and cozy. All our children, grandchildren, and dogs got to play in the snow.

Absolutely stunning vacation home away from home! Loved every minute of our weekend here! Exceptional management, thoughtfully accommodating, well planned and maintained property. Open floor plan, two fireplaces, hot tub, pool table, magnificent views through towering windows... what's not to like!?! Close proximity to ski slope access from top of the mountain is a nice bonus. Themed focus of buck, bear and duck, duck, moose throughout and unforgettable views!

Perfect for a late Fall visit

We spent a weekend here for the TX/WVU game in Morgantown. It was an easy 50 minute drive each way to the football game, and then we spent the rest of the weekend enjoying the view over the Lake while we relaxed, cooked, watched more football on TV and watched it snow. We especially enjoyed the view from the hot tub in the snow.

The unit has a ton of space for a 3 BR, with a huge bedroom on the bottom floor, and additional space in the loft.

The kitchen seemed to be missing a few small items (measuring spoons, etc) but I am guessing it just has not been inventoried since the busy season ended.

The location is convenient to everything at Wisp, and it is an easy drive to groceries, State Park, etc. We cooked most meals, but got some good pizza from Brenda's. Kids enjoyed the discovery center at the State Park and we got in a little hike to Brant Mine.

The website listing was accurate, and everything appeared in real life as it does in the photos. The check-in process was super easy, with the emailed door code and no keys necessary.

We enjoyed everything about this home. We brought our parents ages 90 and 94 because they needed a change of scenery. We loved it, they loved it and we hope to be back soon! I would highly recommend this place if your fussy about clean, and the location is great too.

My family and I had a wonderful time at the Duck Duck Moose over the Memorial Day weekend. The property was in great condition and well-stocked in the kitchen, and the view was just spectacular. It was great for family with young kids--we always look for properties with easy access to grocery store and activities, but miss out on seclusion or privacy, but this place really struck a good balance between everything.

Great Skiing with Beautiful View

This property was perfect for our family trip. The set up was nice and allowed for privacy for all: bedroom in basement and game room for kids; main level bedroom for grandparents and loft bedroom for us. The beds were all comfortable and had good pillows which you do not always get in rental properties. If you are skiing it is nicely situated to the top of the mountain ski slope access which is much less crowded then the base lodge. Only concern to be aware of is that you do have to go up and down a relatively steep hill to access the property and get back to town. It snowed all 3 days that we were there, and vehicles got stuck on the road the first day before it was treated. Once crews were able to treat the road, it was well maintained, but we did slide down the hill the first day in an AWD SUV.
