DESCRIPTION:
Fair winds and calm and relaxing days await with a stay at this beautiful lakefront property. With decks for days, this home was made for outdoor entertaining. Equipped with multi-level decks, a hot tub and built-in benches, there is room for everyone. Hike down the stairs to your private lakefront and dock to take the boats out for a day on the water. Warm summer evening can be spent around the campfire relaxing and reminiscing about the day and planning the days ahead. Winter nights can be enjoyed watching movies on the plush sectional in the sunken living room with the warmth and crackle of the fire place in the background as the snow falls outside. With fantastic restaurants, cute boutiques and other shops, and all kinds of on and off lake, summer and winter activities just a short drive from the home, you’ll have a fun and exciting stay at Fair Winds any time of the year. 

ACCESS DETAILS:
Lake access and dock slip are located down the stairs and path from the back of the home. Please note that docks are only guaranteed from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

This home is located in the Paradise Gardens Community at Deep Creek Lake.

This home comes with free access to the Community Aquatic Recreation Center (CARC)! This fitness and wellness complex, located in the central Deep Creek Lake area, offers a modern gym and a full-size indoor pool. The free CARC membership is available to all guests in the home for the duration of your stay, up to the home’s full occupancy.

DOG BREED LIMITATIONS: Even in dog-friendly homes, it’s prohibited to bring any dog with a history or instance of aggressive or reactive tendencies. We welcome any dog which you know to be well-socialized, trained, and friendly in any situation involving others, both human and canine, as there may be nearby dogs at neighboring properties. However, due to restrictions in place by homeowner insurance policies, breeds listed as most aggressive are banned from all rentals, regardless of the training and temperament of the individual dog. House was great, clean, well equipped. Be prepared to get your steps as there are 113 of them from the house to the water. There was a discrepancy between VRBO refund policy and the host,, but other that that I will rent agian

Fantastic home with top-notch amenities... hot tub, pool access, and private dock. There is a reading nook on the first floor that can double as a bonus room or extra bedroom for larger groups. Very, very family friendly accommodations. The only slight negative is how the distance to the dock was displayed. There are 188 steps from the deck down to the private dock which is not accurately captured in the property photos... too many steps to capture in one photo. But we quickly got used to the up-and-down hike. Just think renters should be aware in advance if there are family members with mobility issues.

We had a problem with the air conditioning when we first arrived. The problem was fixed promptly. House was very clean!!! Great house for a family vacation at the lake.

We enjoyed our relaxing week! Eating outside every evening was wonderful! The trek up the stairs from the lake is no joke but sitting on the pier just about every day was the perfect part of each day.

120 steps to the boat docks was very misleading. The outside porches, chairs and stairs were filthy, dirty bird droppings old leaves from six months ago everywhere. Half the windows didn’t work all three sliding screen doors, the screens were broken and three out of the four air-conditioning units froze up and did not work properly. The boat docks were broken and crooked. The weeds and all the flowerbeds were 3 feet tall

Perfect setting for our extended family of 6. The listing might want to list that the dock is a long flight of stairs down from the house. I wouldn't want to bring a canoe and have to navigate that climb.
