This fitness and wellness complex, located in the central Deep Creek Lake area, offers a modern gym and a full-size indoor pool. The free CARC membership is available to all guests in the home for the duration of your stay, up to the home’s full occupancy.

This place is so relaxing. Love being able to watch the sunset either outside on the lovely deck, or inside on a cozy couch looking through the huge front windows. We didn’t bring the kids, but will next time to take advantage of all the games. Great place!

Glen Woods is conveniently located about a mile from the lake. Easy walk or bike ride to the lake. Excellent restaurants nearby as well as shopping and golf courses. The requests for maintenance is responsive, friendly, and professional. We’ve been renting Glen Woods for six years and plan to continue. (Already booked for next year)

Beautiful house that was great for our family reunion. Kids loved the game room and the spacious yard. Would have been perfect if the hot tub was available as advertised.

Our family of 11 and dogs loved our week at Glen Woods. The house is beautiful and we had plenty of space for our large group. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful with pretty views of the lake and mountains. We especially loved the large yard and short distance to the dock. The house had everything we needed and more. We hope to come back soon!

The location of the home to the lake & dock area are top notch. You can walk (7 min) or drive (1 min) and there are plenty of parking spots. The bathroom at the docks is an added bonus. The yard surrounding the house was amazing for the kids as we took bikes, power wheels & a slipnslide with us. Deer are everywhere & they're fun to watch/interact with. As far as the home goes, it needs some TLC. A deep clean & whole house/deck power wash would be ideal. The hot tub area is not cleanly. It's damp and leaves/mud/muck surround it. The bedrooms are all a good size. The bathrooms are eh. Run the water as soon as you arrive so that you know if you need to call maintenance instead of finding out when you're ready to get a bath/shower. Water filters need changed frequently in this home as it is well water on top of a revolving door of renters. Plenty of space for everyone & great natural light. All in all, we had a great week as we really didn't spend much time inside the home thanks to Mother Nature for giving us some really good weather.

The house fit our family of 9 adults & 4 children comfortably. The house is located in a very quiet area with a huge yard for the everyone to be outside in. My only complaint is that the upstairs has 3 bedrooms that sleep 7 and it only has one very small bathroom.

This house was lovely. Everything was exactly as described. The dock was maybe a little further away than we expected, but it was too cold to worry about going down to the water anyway. The neighborhood was wonderful and quiet and peaceful.

Overall a great house! The one downside for us was that the fenced in portion of the yard isn't accessible from inside the house. We still had to leash our dogs to take them to it and by the time we got them there, it wasn't needed.

Spacious, with lots of natural light. Between the big porch , back deck, fire pit area, the game room, the hot tub, etc., there were plenty of options for a large group, where folks might want to do thier own thing-- but the spaces were big enough, with enough seating, that you could easily have communal time as well. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking equipment, and the maintenance staff was incredibly responsive when we had a minor issue to report. Nothing but positive things to say, we would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful house, great location, house just needed some updates and some tcl.We enjoyed our vacation there though!

We stayed here for a week in early July 2022. Our group of 7 was multi-generational and there was something for everyone in the group. The home was spacious, attractively furnished and well kept. The yard was large enough to allow our 2 dogs room to run. The owners thoughtfully supply a wealth of tables and outside games. The kitchen is well stocked allowing almost any meal to be prepared. We would definitely rent this home again when visiting Deep Creek Lake.

Fun on the Fourth

Spent a long weekend with the family over the 4th of July. Since we planned to do a lot of boating, were very happy with the short distance to the included dock. Accommodations were lovely!

It was a great time. The house was exactly what it looked like online. Everything was in good shape. There were 7 of us, and we all were comfortable no matter where we were. It snowed, which made the scenery absolutely beautiful. Only downfall was we couldn't use the deck, but if we're back in nicer weather, we will definitely being sitting outside. We spent a lot of time in the basement. Put on college basketball in the proojector while taking turns playing pool and air hockey. Overall, it was a fantastic weekend. If I ever venture back out to Deep Creek, that's where I want to stay again.

The location was secluded and quiet but still very close to shopping. It was about 10 minutes from Shop and Save. The home appeared to have new furnishings, dining room table, couches etc. The exterior was well maintained as well. It was cold but the home had a very big front yard for activities during other parts of the year.

We loved staying at this beautiful vacation home! Sitting on the deck, watching the deer run across the yard before sunset, taking in the view, was so peaceful. Everyone enjoyed the pool table and air hockey table, the hot tub, the many TVs, and the various board games. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean and charming. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Enjoyed our stay at Glen Woods. Very nice dock for our rental boat and area to swim with restrooms near the water. High quality pool table and air hockey table and hot tub. We were too busy to take advantage of access to college fitness center and pool, but we did in years past and that facility is very nice and definite plus for this rental.The long driveway and low traffic road was great for young grandkids bike riding. We used the fire pit outdoors often and it includes seating around it which was nice. This was our best rental so far at Deep Creek.

Boat slip markings

Need marked numbers of boat slips on land and visible from lake, not just when walking across docks. When arriving by boat or car in parking lot, most people pay attention to private property signs. Luckily a worker in the area was able to assist us in finding the dock. Glen Woods was perfect for our family of 12 and dog. By far, this was the best dog friendly rental we have had. Great yard.

The home had every comfort. The beds were cozy and the hot tub, fire pit, and pool table made every day fun. House was beautiful and clean. Great location! Just a short walk to water access. We couldn’t have been happier!
