DESCRIPTION:
Hemlock Chalet is a hit! Located in the prestigious Blakeslee community, this marvelous chalet offers your favorite amenities and all the little luxuries you are looking for in a vacation retreat. Linger for a moment on the covered porch and enjoy the spacious yard, large trees, and overwhelming tranquility inherent to this wooded lot. Then, step inside to a beautiful chalet with cathedral ceilings, skylights, large windows, and massive native stone fireplace for days of rest and rejuvenation. The master bedroom suite features a skylight, loft and over-sized  tub for absolute indulgence. The dock and level lakefront are directly across the street and the community center with its indoor pool is within an easy walk or drive.

ACCESS DETAILS:
Lake access can be found down a short path across the street from house. Dock slip is located off Thornberry Road. Please note that docks are only guaranteed from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

DOG BREED LIMITATIONS: Even in dog-friendly homes, it’s prohibited to bring any dog with a history or instance of aggressive or reactive tendencies. We welcome any dog which you know to be well-socialized, trained, and friendly in any situation involving others, both human and canine, as there may be nearby dogs at neighboring properties. However, due to restrictions in place by homeowner insurance policies, breeds listed as most aggressive are banned from all rentals, regardless of the training and temperament of the individual dog. Beautiful house, close to lake. Short drive to skiing and tubing. We enjoyed the picture windows and the deer walking by. House was clean, bright and cheery.

We arrived for our early check in, but the house wasn’t ready yet. RV was very apologetic and professional. They remedied the situation by comping the early check in and still provided us with the keys so we could access the in door community pool until it was ready. When we arrived the house was very clean! We loved the fireplace and having such close access to the lake. It was frozen over and the kids had a blast sliding around. We really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at 66 Thornberry Dr 2/5-7 House was very clean. Great accommodations for 4 adults and 2 children. Great clubhouse and pool! Wonderful fireplace. Great access to lake winter or summer it's a wonderful spot. Kitchen is very very well stocked with everything you could ever need. Few things needed attention: Tub jets did not work. Sink in the same bathroom has a lot of chips/knicks in it. Trashcan slider in kitchen needs to be bolted down. We paid for early check in and could not get in as promise. Railey offered and gave refund and GC to local restaurant. Both very much appreciated. Very professional company definitely would recommend and use again.

We’ve shared your comments regarding the hot tub jets, the bathroom sink, and the trash receptacle with our maintenance team and the homeowner to ensure these concerns are addressed as soon as possible. Wonderful stay! Absolutely loved the large windows. We enjoyed the beautiful fall view. We picked this place because of the big yard! Bringing our two dogs along and having a yard is important to us. Can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful home, very convenient to restaurants, shops, indoor pool and the lake is a very short walk across the road. They even supplied wood for the fireplace which we took full advantage of since the weather was only mid 60’s day, and dropped to 40’s and low 50’s at night. We were nice and toasty. The house was stocked well with plenty of kitchen cookware, and utensils. The outdoors left much to be desired. The beds were super comfortable. The lake access was very close. I was surprised we had to go so far to get the key. It wasn’t as great as the photos suggested and we learned a lot about what to look for in our next rental.

We loved the space in this comfortable cabin. The roads were great for walking and biking plus the lake access was right across the road. The community amenities were wonderful...the kids played tennis and swam.

Cozy Home for a Weekend Getaway

Hemlock Chalet is a cozy place to stay for a weekend to get away from things and relax. Blakeslee is the best neighborhood on the lake and it’s community center is second to none. The pool water is warm and the kids used it every night.

Very nice home with a nice fire place and a great deck. The yard is great for walking pets and the house sits far back from the road. 2 bedrooms on the first floor and a bedroom on the second floor. My Wife and I really enjoyed our stay.

The Hemlock chalet is a very nice home. We wish we could have rented it for longer than a weekend. And the people at Railey Vacations were very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay. And hopefully we will be able to come again.
