We had a wonderful time at this lovely place, which truly had everything we needed for a great stay! The house was very well-appointed and provided us with a comfortable, enjoyable experience. However, there are a few areas that could use some improvement. The grassy areas around the house were much smaller than what the pictures suggested, and the grass that was there wasn’t well-maintained. Additionally, the propane tank was empty when we arrived, which was disappointing since we had planned to use the grill. Another minor issue was the netting around the sun deck—it was torn in several places and barely hanging on, something that wasn’t visible in the online photos. Despite these small issues, we really enjoyed our stay. Everything else about the property was perfect, and it truly felt like a hidden haven. We’ll definitely be back!

The home is beautiful and is on a quiet, secluded lot. There is a substantial decline when driving down the driveway. The home was clean but the downstairs room with the pool table did have an odor that reminded me of a cat/ litter box smell and there was also pet hair that came out of the dining room carpet when I was cleaning up. Overall, we were satisfied with the property. The kids really enjoyed the hot tub and firepitt area.

Very nice home and grounds. This is our third stay and we will be back. The outdoor spaces and furniture need some upgrades but otherwise, a great space.

Beautiful location. Tons of birds and wildlife; bird feeders were full on arrival for us which we appreciated. Railey leaves you a welcome bag with a roll of paper towels, two rolls TP, and two detergent pods for laundry and dishwasher so you don't have to run out to the store asap--great idea. House was spacious and we enjoyed our stay. However, all of the screens were missing/hanging loose on the screened-in porch, which was a bummer. Most of the patio furniture was pretty gross as well, but we just stuck to using the clean pieces. And I am talking moss growing, not just a few leaves. Inside the home was very clean.

Beautiful house in a nice private location with plenty of parking space. Large open space among living area, dining and kitchen. Good sized bedrooms and accommodations plus loft was a nice hangout area. Kitchen had all necessary utensils and all appliances are up to date and in good working order. Nice large decks on back side of house and a great fire pit area. The only downside was trying to get the upper and lower levels to the right temperatures, when air conditioned temperature was decent in the upper levels, the bottom floor (where the bedrooms are) was freezing.

Nice place. Secluded location, but close to everything. The ground floor bedrooms get a little chilly when you run the AC, but you can adjust.

Very nice place, we were able to accommodate 8 people comfortably, we will definitely consider coming back again. The only downside was being limited to 3 cars in the driveway, and the bear-proof garbage containers were broken. Also, the road leading up to the house is very hilly and is partially gravel. Not an issue, but useful to know in the future.

We took the family in late February for a weekend ski getaway. Beautiful home, that looked like the pictures. Very cozy w/ 2 gas fireplaces . Hot tub was hot and ready upon our arrival, with seamless check in. I really enjoyed the screened porch off the dining room. Others had mentioned the driveway being steep which it was, however, we did not find this to be a problem. We did get 3 inches of snow during our stay which made the lane up to the house a little slick. I would definitely consider an AWD or 4WD vehicle especially during the winter months. Also, someone mentioned about the heat, and there was a noticeable difference between main level and downstairs as I was only able to find one thermostat. I didn't mind because I prefer a colder environment when I sleep. I suppose this could be made up with the gas fireplace. Bathrooms had plenty of hot water as well! Well stocked kitchen with a Keurig! I will definitely consider this home again for a stay in the area!

Perfect home for my husband and I, our daughter and her husband, our adult son and our teenage son. Home was clean with pleasant and simple decor. Beds were comfortable. We were able to cook all of our meals in the well-stocked kitchen which had all the pots and pans, bowls, utensils, etc. needed. Hot tub was large enough for all of us to sit comfortably. Loved the two decks - one covered and one not. We had a great stay here!

We really liked our stay in this cabin. A few things though, if staying in the winter you absolutely must have a 4 wheel drive. The road to the cabin is steep and winding. We slid in the snow a few times in our 4 wheel drive. Also, if you don't like stairs, this is not the cabin for you. All 3 bedrooms are on the bottom floor. There is a small day bed upstairs but again, you have to go up or down stairs to get to any bedroom. The cabin was clean and cozy. It had everything we needed.

This house was absolutely amazing. It had everything we needed. It would have been nice to have the tv downstairs instead of in the loft where guest may be sleeping. Otherwise I would definitely book again!

A Hidden Haven was the perfect spot for our trip to Deep Creek. Located atop a hill, pretty secluded from the road with a great view of the lake (no foliage in the winter). The home is beautiful, kitchen cookware and utensils cover just about everything you need. Rv staff was pleasant to work with from start to end. We got some fresh snow (perfect for our planned day at Wisp) and a plow showed up to clear the driveway around 8am. Would highly recommend a AWD and/or 4wd in the winter months since getting to the home goes up steep switchbacks, and the driveway slopes down back towards the house.

Very clean house with stocked kitchen. The large dining room table was great for family meals. Check in and check out was very easy. Takes less than 10 minutes to get to Wisp. There is a steep winding hill that you need to travel for about a 1/4 mile to get to the house and then the driveway to the house is very steep. 4 wheel drive was necessary due to the recent snowfall.

The house was great and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The driveway is extremely hilly so if you go during the winter definitely make sure you have 4WD. The only other downfall was the TV is in the loft so if someone is using that as their room the TV can't be used by everyone. It was a beautiful home and we would definitely stay again!
