Lake access path can be found between homes off of S Blakeslee Rd. Dock slip is located on dock area #2. Please note that docks are only guaranteed from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Beautiful Home in a Beautiful Neighborhood!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway at Home Sweet Home. The home was charming, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed the firepit and hot tub, as well as snuggling up on the couch and watching movies. The game room and access to the rec center was a huge hit with our pre-teen boys. The house was clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We're hoping to plan another trip soon and would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking to retreat to the Deep Creek Lake area.

The home was clean and beautiful our only complaint was no wifi it kept going on and off and we were unable to make calls to family who were having surgery . The rental company attempted to fix it multiple times and called multiple times but it only was a hassle when we were trying to have family time and enjoy our vacation . Overall I would recommend this home it is a nice place that was my only complaint.

We enjoyed our stay at Home Sweet Home! Two families with kids/teenagers stayed for a week. There were plenty of towels, blankets, pillows, and places to sleep! The kitchen was stocked with every kind of utensil, pot/pan, dish you could imagine! There was a very large crockpot and pots and pans. The owners have a huge supply of dishes, cups, and even left a welcome package of goodies when we got there! The backyard was peaceful and the hot tub was wonderful. We utilized the boat slip and the dock the whole week, the dock was a short walk from the house and the entrance ramp was in the state park, a little drive away. The kids swam in the pool a few days and loved it. We would absolutely stay again if we ever come out this way!

The home was perfect for our weekend away with family. The home was warm and welcoming. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked. We enjoyed time by the firepit as the kids played in the yard. The tennis/basketball/pickleball courts were outstanding. The kids had a great time in the pool. Fantastic property!

We had a great time with friends of ours. The kids enjoyed the game room. The pictures don’t do this home justice. Beautiful quiet wooded neighborhood. Keep in mind it is not super close to restaurants or activities (20 min drive).

Had a fantastic time and even had the opportunity to watch 3 deer in the back yard sleep, and eat day and night. The house had a great warm cozy vibe and the neighbors were even super polite, kind and welcoming. We look forward to coming back to deep creek either in the summer or next winter. Couldn’t have asked for a more layed back weekend with great mountain views.

This is a gorgeous comfortable home- just as pictured. Spotless. Beautifully renovated, tastefully furnished and decorated. The kitchen is equipped with absolutely everything you would need. Beds super comfortable with quality linens. The yard is lovely, we enjoyed spending time on back deck and front porch. Great quiet location in a very nice neighborhood. We will definitely return.

very nice home had everything we needed. the deer were nice to watch .was use to my hot tub jets so it wasnt as good but was hot on the body.plenty of room.want to wash the window but we were on vacation. thanks

Perfect Lakeside Getaway

Railey Realty and the homeowners have made Home Sweet Home an absolutely FANTASTIC location for a family getaway to Deep Creek. The house has everything you could ask for - the kitchen is abundant with every cooking and baking tool imaginable. The upstairs rooms each have a portable air conditioner that kept temperatures inside super comfortable. Logs were available for the fire pit. All instructions and accessories (e.g., hot tub key, community pool key) were clearly laid out in the house and easy to understand. Nestled in a private and cozy lakeside community, the house is a short and easy walk to the community dock and includes a dedicated boat slip. We loved this, as it enabled us to rent a boat for 2 days and provided an easy place to put our SUPs in the water. Railey made check in and check out a breeze and the home was very clean and all set up upon our arrival. We couldn't stop talking about how perfect the home is, highly recommend, and can't wait to book another trip!

The house was very nice and fully stocked with everything! We loved the back deck with the hot tub, the big yard was great for our grandchildren to play, the fire pit was wonderful and the location to the lake was only a about 6 minute walk. We saw deer everyday and they came up into the yard. We rented a pontoon boat, used the indoor pool and basketball courts in our community, played putt-putt one day, went to Swallow Falls, and went to Deep Creek Lake State Park and enjoyed the beach one day. We made many great memories!

Unbelievable home. Our-family get together was comfortable. Home Sweet Home provides many amenities and ample space to enjoy one another’s company. The surrounding scenery is beautiful. The home is tastefully designed and completely meet our needs. We will definitely come back.

Relaxed in the hot tub, enjoyed s'mores by the firepit, and the kids had a blast in the game room every day. The kitchen was a pleasant communal area where are meals were prepped with love!

Everything you could possibly need for your stay. Hot tub was great, indoor pool membership perfect for kids on a rainy day. Very clean, new/well functioning furniture and appliances. Game room with pool table a huge plus.

For families with young children as well as families with "tweens" and teens, Home Sweet Home fits the bill whether in summer or autumn. So much to do during the day and many memories to be made while enjoying one of the better locations in the area. The community center offers lots of athletic choices while the docks provide space for a boat. There are paths through the wooded areas as well as alongside pastures. Most paths are safe for all ages. The community is safe and secure so families can relax and simply soak in the fresh air and sunshine knowing the family is safe.

Home Sweet Home is just perfect. I just celebrated my 73rd birthday and doing a lot of steps can become hard. Having a Master on the first floor was ideal. Location in the Blakeslee Community is very quiet, but still close to everything we want to do. With the Covid19 pandemic the pool was closed, but the dock was close and the grandchildren could still go swimming. Excellent vacation home.

Me and my family and our friends really enjoyed staying here. We loved the beautiful house. We are really happy we got the opportunity to stay here. Me and my friend really liked the play room. We enjoyed every minute of our stay here at Home Sweet Home. There were 12 of us – 6 adults, 6 kids. We enjoyed the game room, hot tub, fire ring and the deer in the backyard. The indoor pool, tennis courts, docks for fishing and great roads for biking. We would love to come back in the future. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality in your gorgeous home

Your home is beautiful. You had everything that we needed for our stay. We loved the hot tub. We all enjoyed our stay at Home Sweet Home and thanks for all of the goodies that you provided. We enjoyed the deer and the swimming pool. The only thing is that it was not handicap accessible. We had a lady in a wheel chair. It was hard for her to get in and out of the home.

We had a great vacation. We normally go to the beach every year, but its become so crowded and over priced. I love the slow pace and relaxed vibe that deep creek offers.

This house was perfect for our extended family. Very family friendly and spacious. The kitchen was is well equipped. Loved being out on the back deck with hot tub. We even we graced with wildlife (deer) making there presence. I would defiantly rent this property again!

My family and I truly enjoyed our 4 night stay. I honestly felt like it was my home. Anything you would have in your home was located inside of this property (with some added bonuses). The owners have done an AMAZING job at keeping the property up. We will definitely be back next year.
