Great home location with the potential to be even better. The location was easy to find, wonderful that it is waterfront and affordable. I can tell the owner has been making improvements. However as many have said before the downstairs bathrooms could use a little love. The jet tub has mold in the jets. It's a common problem with jet tubs. The shower makes you feel like Will Ferrell in the movie Elf showering in the North Pole. I'm 5'6 and I had trouble. The toilet liked to run, and with the counter the way it is its difficult to look in the tank to fix the problem. If funds are available and that bathroom can be reworked to give you a bigger shower if you scrapped the jet tub. Just my opinion. It would be a lot more functional. Overall we were happy with our stay. It was great to sit on the back deck and look at all the lake happenings.

Nice, clean lakefront condo. Kids room upstairs with an amazing trundle bed. Pet friendly Lakefront with access to swimming pool and basketball/ pickleball/tennis court up the hill. Close to everything.

We had a great stay at Miss Bee Haven. In the past, we’ve had to “trade off” — not quite as nice a place in exchange for a great view — but this condo had both. There’s nothing like seeing the lake straight out the patio doors while cooking dinner, or sitting out on the deck at sunset. The kids loved having direct access to the lake without having to cross the road. The home was quite nice inside — it appeared the main floor kitchen and bath had been recently redone, while the fixtures of the downstairs baths were a little more dated. The downstairs showers were quite small but worked well. The hot tub overlooking the lake was a favorite feature for all the family.

This is a great location to the lake and skiing. The property has all the amenities needed while away from home. We loved that we could take our dogs, however we feel the property could be cleaned a little better.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was right on the lake and it was close to the ski resort. We also had close access to shopping and restaurants. The house was spacious and felt cozy. The RV reps were so responsive any time we had a question or concern. Definitely stay here again!

The view from the property was gorgeous. Furnishings are comfortable. Downstairs showers are very small, the shower upstairs is lovely. The property is in a great location central to everything.

We were bumped out of one of their cabins because of construction. The replacement we chose was very clean. Only 60' to the lake with great views from deck and hot tub. We will be back.

This townhouse is in a great location…being right on the lake was wonderful. The house was very clean upon our arrival. Lower level showers are a bit small so we used the full sized tub on the main level. The upstairs loft with games is perfect for kids and there are 2 ladders to climb for great views of the lake through the skylights. The kitchen is pretty small but had everything we needed!

Nice House for a Short Family Stay

Scenic Solitude was a great choice for staying with two small kids. It was a great space for a family of four. The hot tub is in excellent condition, and having access to the Lakewood Resort Complex pool is a dream! But just know it's across the main street - we don't recommend walking. The kitchen was very nice and had new appliances. There are plenty of TVs, games and the Game Room in the lofted area was a nice surprise! The unit was pet friendly and tidy - you would not have known there were previously other dogs in the place. My family and I agreed that we would choose to stay here again, but probably only for shorter durations.The house does need some updating - while we were told not to light a fire in the fireplace, the neighbors in the adjoining condo had a fire going all weekend and it filled our unit with smoke and wood fire smell. It was honestly like we were camping, but worse because it was all throughout the condo and recycled by the heating. If you do bring a pet, it is a muddy/slippery walk down to the flatter area of the yard. The owners have not waterproofed the upper deck above the hot tub, so if it's raining, the rain just drips down on you, that wasn't pleasant. The bathrooms were probably the worst part - they were very outdated and rusty. The main level bathroom sink was unusable because it leaked out the bottom where it connected to the sink top.

You certainly should have been allowed to use the fireplace. We extend our sincere apologies that incorrect information was communicated during your stay. We’ve talked to the property management team to ensure they know that guests can use the fireplace. Next time, if the neighbors are using their fireplace, you can certainly close the back door to the unit and turn on the ceiling fans to keep the property smoke-free! Based on your feedback, step stones have been placed outside to allow guests to walk out back without slipping. Also, we are in the midst of many exciting updates to this property. Since your visit, the kitchen cabinets were painted and there have been minor bathroom updates. Basement flooring will be replaced this week (April 13, 2023) and granite counters are going in next month (May 2023). A major bathroom renovation is on the schedule as well. Finally, I’ve asked the maintenance crew to fix the leak in the main-level bathroom. Thanks again for the helpful feedback!
