While these homes do not have access to the lake, they potentially offer many other great benefits, such as beautiful mountaintop views, quiet communities, great locations, and more. You can reserve a boat ahead of time at a local marina, or access the lake through the public state park, which offers a sandy beach.
  2. Ski In/Ski Out
    Refers to any home that provides direct access from the house to the slopes of Wisp Resort without driving or crossing a road. The convenience to the slopes in the winter is the best amenity! Some of our homes in the Lake Access and Lake Area categories may also be considered a Ski-In/Ski-Out property.

This showstopper offers everything you need for your dream Deep Creek vacation! Located high atop the mountain, there is no lack of breathtaking views to enjoy from almost every room. Soaring story-book windows in the great room make for one show-stopping vista from the moment you first arrive! The home's cathedral ceilings and open layout allow for the whole family to spend meaningful time together without sacrificing comfort in the least. Come winter, Mountain Rendezvous boasts a highly-coveted ski in/ski out location, allowing for quick and easy access to the slopes. Wake up early and hit the trails, then come home for a shared meal at the home's large dining room table. Cold toes can be warmed by the fire as everyone gets ready for round 2 out on the slopes. Mountain Rendezvous makes it easy to incorporate your plans at Wisp into a day of family fun at the home!

Best View on the Mountain!

The house is beautiful and spacious with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The pool table and foosball table were lots of fun. Had unexpectedly some warm temps in February so we enjoyed an afternoon stretched out on the comfortable lounge chairs on the deck overlooking the Lake. Quick access to the slopes and we saw lots of wildlife on our walk including otters, deer, eagles and osprey. We had such a fabulous, restful vacation and we will definitely be booking your home again! 5/5 Stars Highly Recommend!

Despite some issues related to the house’s age and maintenance, our stay was enjoyable. The snowfall during our visit added a magical touch, and we had a memorable time with family and friends celebrating the New Year. The location, view, and amenities like the hot tub and game area were definite highlights. Pros: • The house is spacious. • It features a charming outdoor area, including a hot tub. • Conveniently located, a 5-minute drive to Wisp. • The kitchen is well-equipped with all the necessary items and then some. • A great view that adds to the overall experience. • Includes a game area with pool and foosball table. Cons: • The houses wear and tear is noticeable including loose fridge handles, cracked tile, running toilets. • Management is handled by a reality company, not directly through Vrbo, and theyl don’t communicate through this app but through their own systems. • The pullout bed upstairs is completely broken. • Toilet in one of the upstairs bedrooms ran constantly. We had to turn the water off to it after every use. • Although the hot tub is chlorinated, it wasn’t as clean as expected. • The property experienced a septic overflow, but the response was prompt. • The TV is small and outdated, although this was not a significant concern for us.

Great for large families with teenagers and young adults. The foosball table was a great big hit. Having three levels gave everyone their own space while also allowing us to all be together.

This home is absolutely beautiful and amazing! Other than a few small things it was a perfect stay for me and my family. It should be noted that the bathrooms in the basement shower functions are not connected so they are bathing use only. Other than a few maintenance concerns the hike is perfect and the views are incredible. This is a must stay. We love this house and if it weren’t for the bathrooms not having working showers it would have a rafting of 5!!!! Love this place and I will revisit! Thank you!!!

The home is nice and comfortably holds 16 people. There were minor issues like no toilet tissue and one eye on the stove not working but other than that, everything was good. The hot tub only holds about 4 people comfortably so if u have a large group like I did, then you all won’t be able to get in at the same time.

Cozy home with a beautiful view, great surround sound speaker system on the two main levels to enjoy music, and a hot tub! A couple minor inconveniences: the foosball table was missing some parts and seemed to have had some work done to it, the lock in basement bathroom near the pool table would not lock, the stove burner was not working in the kitchen was not working, and the laundry dryer wasn’t drying clothes properly. Besides these few minor inconveniences the house is good for a stay with your family in adequate weather with plenty of nearby water activities. If there’s one thing this property sticks out for and beats the rest of the neighboring properties; it is the beautiful view! Would be willing to book again for the summer.

Great place for a family or friends getaway. Very nice views, easy access by foot to the slopes, nice family room, nice game room. Beddings should be improved. Very good wifi. Convenient amount of cutlery, plates and glasses.

The view was fabulous, the house could use a little maintenance and the hot tub didn't stay hot-we were only there two nights so we made do- We would rent it again, Did I mention the view was amazing !

My family of four had an amazing time at this mountain top retreat! We have been to Deep Creek several times but this house blew us away with its views, comfortability and easy access to everything in town. My teenage boys loved the access to the slopes as well as the games in the basement and hot tub on the back deck. A perfect escape for everyone!

We had a wonderful weekend at Mountain Rendezvous. The house is spectacular. Exactly what you’d expect from a mountain retreat...stunning tall windows overlooking the lake, large stone fireplace, a large deck, and plenty of comfy seating to take it all in. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. We went in October so we didn’t ski but the slopes are steps away. There is even a hot tub that looks out at the view as well. We were impressed with the fact that there is plenty of seating available and plenty of room for the cars in the driveway.

The house was so well stocked. It had everything we needed to make this the perfect vacation. There is plenty of room to watch TV in the upstairs, while playing board games in the basement, and reading a good book on the deck. Everyone in the family, from teenagers to senior citizens, found the perfect way to spend their vacation.

Mountain Rendezvous is a wonderful home. The view was excellent from both inside the living room and outside. Just looking at the lake and the beautiful mountain was lovely. Definitely why we rented it. It is conveniently located close to 219 and the Wisp so pretty quick to get to once you arrive. The home has extra space in the basement for the teens to sleep even giving them a bathroom of their own. The biggest issue is parking since they only allow five cars. Overall it was a nice summer weekend with beautiful mountain temps!

What an amazing time with my small family. The 13 of us just loved the property. It was just as described. The Deep Creek area was beautiful. Working with Deep Creek Lodgeing was effortless. Great customer service.

We had a wonderful time staying at Mountain Rendezvous. Lots of room for the group we were with. Beautiful views, and wonderful amenities. Very peaceful and was in a great spot in relation to the slopes. The one thing I would say in relation to the ski-in ski-out access was that it went to a black diamond, which was a little much for some in our group. But the lift to the top of the slope wasn't that much of a walk up from the neighborhood access point. Would definitely go here again.
