Nestled just a few steps away from your lakefront and dock, take a seat out on the expansive back deck and watch lake waters ripple, leaves sway, and bursts of sunlight flicker through the trees for a restful experience unlike any other. Inside this lakefront cottage, you will find plenty of space for family and friends to get together! Close to Deep Creek Lake State Park, as well as area restaurants, shopping, and dining destinations, Pebble Beach boasts an utterly ideal location for vacation fun! Be sure to reserve your stay today!

1st things first - Don't believe every bad review you read! I was ready to cancel my stay after reading the horrible review from July. We never experienced any of those issues! If paneling makes the home dated, we'll then yes it is. But the views from all the rooms and the deck were well worth overlooking anything that looked out dated!! The house was very clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. I do agree with one of the other reviews that the couch and chairs in one of the living rooms were hard to get out of for an older person. Bottom line, we would most definitely come back and stay at Pebble Beach!! My one request would be to replace the shower head in the master bathroom.

My husband and I went to relax and that is exactly what we did. It's very quiet there and that is a plus. Close to anything you need but someone secluded. The place was somewhat dated but it looks like they are slowly making updates. I loved the huge rooms and very much enjoyed my stay!

We had a wonderful vacation at Pebble Beach. Yes, it's a little dated, but it looks like they are slowly updating a lot of things. We didn't have any problems. The location was perfect and it was the most relaxation I have had in a long time. It is a quiet place but close enough to go just about anywhere you need to go. Yes, I would recommend.

Location is great but everything needs updated. As an older person, the chairs and couches were hard to get out of. They are old and need replaced. I believe the whole house is not up to par for renting at the premium price that we paid.

I'll start off with the one positive from our stay at Pebble Beach. The view is spectacular from almost all rooms. HOWEVER, there is no way that we would recommend it to anyone considering staying there for many reasons. It is BADLY in need of a whole-house water filtration system! The water turns things yellow and smells overpoweringly of iron. We had to buy bottled water and used it for everything. The family roon a/c unit was dripping into a trash can when we arrived. The balcony door had a board across it because the deck was completely rotted out. There was mouse poop in the kitchen drawers and pots, pans, dishes, glasses, silverware, and appliances were all dirty. Many of the metal plumbing fixtures were rusted. We found empty water bottles under a bed. In short, Pebble Beach is in need of a complete overall renovation. Things there are old, rusty, and/or rotten.

Please know that we take your concerns very seriously and will address them promptly. Your feedback regarding the water quality, maintenance issues, cleanliness, and overall condition of the property is invaluable to us as we strive to improve our guests' experience. Rest assured that we are already working on implementing necessary changes including a change of housekeeping staff, as well as a vendor being sent out to address the issues with the AC. We would also like to mention that we do have a picture on our website that shows the wooden board across the door as a safety measure for guests until the deck is able to be repaired. Lastly we are having our property manager assess the concerns with the mice and have pest control come out to remedy the issue. We appreciate your patience as we make these improvements and are pleased to hear that the views brought a positive experience to your stay. This house was close to everything and with the dock on site made it a very convenient choice. We love to fish and swim so this was perfect. Plenty of space in the house to get away from all the excitement.

House overall was good for a long weekend, not sure we could do a week with the parking situation and the musty smell we had, maybe run dehumidifier more. Lighting in the house was dim for our liking. Kitchen was great and there was plenty of room on the main floor for everybody to hang out at. Two nice sized family rooms, separate the adults from the kids. Beds were comfortable and access to the lake was nice for fishing.

Pebble Beach Nightmare

Our stay at Pebble Beach turned out to be a nightmare. When we arrived there were a few issues which had been previously reported by others - the garbage disposal and dishwasher door were broke. We assumed they would be fixed while we were there but did not consider them to be real issues. We could live without them. However when we discovered the ladder was missing from the dock, we immediately called Railey’s. (There were hand rails on the dock for a ladder but the rungs were missing). After the third call to Railey’s, we were told the owner chose not to replace the ladder since there was easy access in and out of the lake. To do this, one would have to hoist themselves up onto the dock with their arm strength, or climb over four or five boulders at the shoreline. This proved to be impossible for the two senior citizens and very difficult for the 6 and 7 year olds in our party. We paid good money for our rental but because of this issue was not able to enjoy all aspects of lake living. We are extremely disappointed with the owner of Pebble Beach and especially with Railey.

While our maintenance team is able and more than willing to address issues such as an inoperative garbage disposal or dishwasher (which they’ll be sure to check out once more to ensure all is in working order), we cannot add or remove anything from the home without the homeowner’s permission. We will be sure to share your comments regarding the dock ladder with the homeowner for consideration during future home improvements. That being said, we do understand the frustration of not being able to enjoy all aspects of your rental home and regret that this was your experience. Was great being on the water and with family - had plenty of room for a family of 8 with 3 grandbabies but lake traffic was super busy and had little ones so hard to be in the water with the waves constantly coming in. Disappointed in some things broken - like the dishwasher - could still use it but the door was falling off. Several other things were broken and the place is a little out-dated and could use some paint in some of the rooms. Just felt for the amount of money spent that things like a dishwasher would be fixed. Kitchen floor was pretty dirty so hadn't been mopped I don't think. Struggled with the air conditioner controls as well.

The place was a little unkept and run down. The fact that it was by the water is the reason we came, but many things were broken (screens, dishwasher door, couldn't use some of the deck chairs) and the outdoor furniture looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a while. Musty smell when we arrived so opened all the windows for some fresh air. Have been several places down here and had some very nice places. It was clean just needs a lot of updates - lots of painting needed.

Huge House Right on the Lake

The house is huge—way more than two people could use—but you can’t beat the location, with the lake in the backyard. The house could use a little TLC, but nothing major, and the beds and furniture were comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked with every dish/pot/pan/plate/glass/utensil you could need. But do bring TP and paper towels, as there was not enough for a week. Had two small issues, one of which was internet. Railey promptly fixed both.

Don’t be fooled by these pics. This property is so much better in person! Just like many homes, the kitchen and joined seating area quickly became the heart of this property - and it came with ALL the creature comforts: clean & fully functioning fridge, stove & dishwasher; coffee makers galore; nice selection of cookware, serving utensils, table setting for 10+, etc.! Two spacious living areas made it easy to branch off into smaller groups. For those of us who needed added entertainment, each space & bedroom were also equipped with TVs. It worked so well for our much-needed getaway.

Too many steps for my husband.

We just spent a week with the family at Pebble Beach. It was the perfect week. The yard and dock were perfect for us. Being able to go out the back door and not have to walk too far to get to the water was wonderful. The house was comfortable, although the queen bed at the bottom of the steps was very uncomfortable. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

This was our first time vacationing at Deep Creek. We have always vacationed at the Jersey Shore. We had a wonderful vacation at Deep Creek. Even though Covid put a little damper on some activities, it was fun for all. We loved having a private dock for our boat and wave runner. Can’t wait to come back next year. We thought Pebble Beach was perfect for our family. We hope it is available for our stay next year.

Pebble Beach was terrific! Location right on the waterfront allowed us to kayak right off the dock just steps away from the house and to enjoy dinners on the deck looking out at the water. The kitchen was well-equipped and the furnishings were comfortable. We would definitely stay at this house again if we came to the area.

Rented this home several times and its a beautiful setting. We have a boat and use of the peir makes it easy for us to fish and take boat rides. I like the twin TV's on first floor because ladies tend to get together for shows and visiting and the guys do the same. Works out well for us.

Pebble Beach was clean with plenty of room. The only negative was with how many rooms there are, there is very little parking. We only had 2 vehicles and we may have been able to fit 1 more vehicle, but would have been tight.
