When first walking into the home you are welcomed with a contemporary and sleek decor style, complimented with warm color tones creating the perfect atmosphere! And that’s not at all! If you’re looking for a home to bring along your furry friends, then look no further as this is the right spot for all members of the family. Wake up feeling rejuvenated and start a hot cup of coffee while taking in the sunrise, or adventure out and take a brisk walk in the neighborhood with your pet. No matter the season, there are endless activities to do! In the summer pack up your swim gear and spend the day boating across the lake, or make sure to check out the different hiking trails across the State Park. During the winter take advantage of the slopes where there are ski and snowboarding trails for all. Or head over to Deep Creek Fun Zone for an afternoon of fresh pizza, arcade games, and laser tag. We arrived at Ruth's Cabin & here is what you need to know. This house is amazing, although there is definitely some rough roads getting in, and definitely during late fall/winter, 4wd is probably required. The house is clean & modern, & filled with great appliances! This house has a great set up, loved the showers, and the electric fireplaces for people like us who like the look, but prefer no heat (they do heat as well if you choose for them to).We will definitely rent at Ruth's again! We still loved the house, BUT the furniture is more modern, and less COMFY like what you'd find in most cabins. Id hope they'd consider upgrading that

The house was as advertised. All on one level. My wife is in a wheelchair, and my sister has MS, struggles with steps. It is very hard to find a place in Deep Creek that is all on one level. Doorways were the right size for the wheelchair, and we used our ramp to go through the garage. The only negative thing I can say is the roads leading up to the house are mostly gravel and bumpy, and a little steep. I realize Railey, or the homeowner, have no control over that.

This was an excellent choice for our family. Mt wife being handicap this single level home was a god sent. Attempting to find a single level home in a mountain area is difficult and we are grateful that the owner thought enough to build this home.We found it to be just what my family needed.

Ruth's cabin was a delightful surprise - to have a beautifully modern escape in the woods was a treat! Excellent accommodations - plenty of space and areas to rest, relax, play, and even work when we needed to. Appliances were top of the line, bedrooms were roomy, and the place was spotless! Loved the outdoor space as well - not pictured is a small playground for small kids (swings, slide, eagle's nest). We definitely plan to return!

This home is beautiful and identical to the photos. That said, I hope the owner changes the living room furniture as it’s incredibly uncomfortable. Also, there are no dressers. I hadn’t noticed that in the pictures. It cannot be understated of how treacherous it is to get to it. The roads are roughed in and steep. I wouldn’t recommend driving a low profile vehicle. All in all we enjoyed our time. It is a beautiful home on very nice, secluded property. We saw so many deer and my husband finally got to see some black bear!

We enjoyed a long weekend at Ruth’s Cabin. The house has a great location and was outfitted with everything we needed. Owners definitely put thought and effort into the home which we appreciated. The roads to the cabin are steep, but we had four wheel drive and were fine in the snow. Will definitely stay there again.

Ruth's Cabin is beautiful, has all the amenities you could need in the house. The only issue we had was no hot water! Which makes things tricky in December, it's easy to get a hold of Railey for service they just weren't able to fix it during our stay.

The road getting up to the house is a bit rough (gravel and steep hill) but the house and property is great. Secluded and quiet. The kitchen set up is great.

Ruth’s Cabin was everything we hoped for and more! The house is beautiful and modern. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the patio and our evenings around the fire pit. The house is close to the lake, activities and restaurants. Will definitely stay here again!

Ruth’s Cabin was everything we hoped for and more! The house is beautiful and modern. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the patio and our evenings around the fire pit. The house is close to the lake, activities and restaurants. Will definitely stay here again!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ruth’s Cabin! It has all the amenities needed and more. Quiet area and easy access to everything. Large yard in a peaceful setting to relax and unwind. Just what we needed. Will definitely stay there again! Highly recommend!
