Beautiful house that is well stocked with kitchen items and multiple areas in which to relax.. Easy walk to the dock. Comfortable beds. Lovely view of the lake. Everyone from 3 years old to 73 years old found many ways to enjoy the week.

The entire family enjoyed our vacation at Sundance. Sunrise was beautiful over the lake. The home had ample space to be together and also provided quiet space to get away from the others! The kitchen was well equipped. In addition, the two sinks, two dishwashers, and the two refrigerators were convenient for meal preparation. The kids (both young and old) had a great time playing the arcade machine in the lower level. In the evening, we gathered around the fire pit and had s’mores and were happy for the opportunity of being together.

We've rented as a family for many years. We have never seen a kitchen better appointed than Sundance. Two dishwashers and two refrigerators are now mandatory for future stays. The number of dishes, utensils, glasses, pots, pans, etc. was second to none. The hot tub was serviced weekly and the house upon arrival was spotless. We have always run into issues with enough trash cans. Not here. I don't know how often trash was picked up, but we always had room in the cans. We could only come up with one or two VERY minor issues not worth mentioning. Great house

The house was large enough to fit all 21 of our family. It had everything we needed in the kitchen, adequate parking, private dock. Only issues were that the cloths washing machine was dead when we got there and it took the owners 4 days to get a replacement. Normally this wouldn't have been a huge issue but we packed in anticipation of being able to do laundry while we were there. Only other issue was that the hot tub needed the water replaced and half the jets didn't work. Water issue resolved quickly. Other than that, family had an awesome time!

Our family group of 10 seniors from three states gathered in Deep Creek for our annual fall vacation. The kitchen was well stocked. We made good use of the 2 refrigerators and 2 dishwashers and enjoyed dining on the colorful Fiesta dishes. All the equipment we needed was present. We enjoyed the fire pit and fireplaces and were pleased with the generous quantity of firewood provided. Like another reviewer we had difficulty with the stove in this home. The oven latched intermittently and the controls for the double oven were difficult to use even after we located the owner provided manual. We did not contact Railey about this but muddled through on our own. We attempted to use the hot tub but it was not functioning properly. Railey was quick to respond to our call for service but a part was required so we were unable to use it for the remainder of our stay. Like another reviewer we too noted that the house could use some little fixes and attention. Be aware that the parking for 7 cars is in two locations - 4 vehicles at the home and 3 at a higher lot off the driveway adjacent to the trash bins.

We understand what an inconvenience it is when amenities are not functioning properly and are sorry that we were unable to resolve these issues prior to your departure. Our time at Sundance at Deep Creek Lake was a great time with the family. House was large and fit us perfectly with lots of space and well-stocked kitchen. Nice to have a private dock and access to the Community Center. Had some cleaning issues and maintenance issues that, for the most part, were resolved.

Great company, good house

The rental company was fantastic. We had several issues early in the week as we started to use different appliances and they responded within the same day and were often able to offer a replacement if it couldn't be fixed. For example, the Keurig was showing an error and they brought a new one to the house; the oven wasn't latching properly so they brought a small convection oven for us to use until a repair company could come look at the oven, which happened later that same day. We had awesome service from the company! The house itself could use some small, easy fixes. Several cabinet doors were crooked, the ladder at the dock was dangling by one screw so we could not use it, some of the drains were backed up slightly (slow to drain), and one of the toilets leaked onto the floor. Several lamps were broken (the bases) but they were still operable and provided light. Some of the cusioned chairs had tears in the upholstery. None of this interfered with our experience, but just would be nice fixes to make to keep the house in better shape!

This was definitely an excellent rental. The home was fully stocked with everything you needed, pots, pans, cups, waffle maker, crock pot, etc. We brought all of this stuff because we did not know. Despite the fact that a couple of the beds were hard, we made the best of it. The arcade machine was a definite plus for the kids and adults. Kept us entertained for hours. If you go in the winter time, please make sure you have 4WD as it is definitely needed. A couple of our cars got stuck going up the driveway when we were leaving as there was snow/ice covering it. We had a couple maintenance issues that we found and someone was there to fix within a few hours. Great response time!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sundance. The view is fantastic! We had 3 families with all different ages of kids and this is a great vacation home for that dynamic. Everyone from kids to adults loved the arcade game, hot tub and pool table. The kitchen table is huge and we were all able to eat meals together and play board games as a group. There were lots of books, games, movies and puzzles on site. The kitchen is well stocked and had plenty of room for food & prep. The road leading up to the house and driveway would be tough if you don't have 4 wheel drive, even with small amounts of snow. The Wifi worked well for our kids that are virtually learning right now. Overall it was a great trip and we would stay at this property again in the future.

We did have a wonderful time and enjoyed the home very much. There were a few things that lessened the quality of the stay, but more than enough other things to make the visit a lasting family memory. We really appreciate the checkout housekeeping crew’s efforts in locating my grandson’s little stuffed bear that he received as an infant after surgery at Children’s Hospital. He was devastated he lost it and is now very grateful thanks to your crew, please let them know our appreciation.

Better path to water. More steps with railings. rock step onto porch was a hazard. again no railing. We had some elderly that found the path to steep.

We rent with Railey every year and are satisfied. Our group would really like it if Railey upgraded trash collection to include recycling ASAP. We are outdoor enthusiasts who care deeply about the environment and it is cumbersome to drag our recycling back to DC to manage that ourselves.

We enjoyed our stay at Sundance! This trip was an extended family trip for winter break. Very well appointed home with a gorgeous view. Loved the fireplaces, great for cozy evenings by the fire, the twin beds in the window nooks were a hit with kids and a great place to read a book. We also enjoyed the hot tub.The house has a very well appointed kitchen: bakeware, kitchen appliances and a good selection of pots, also a Keurig and traditional coffee pot. We cooked most meals and didn’t want for any particular pot or pan. Having 2 dishwashers was wonderful! For winter renters, the driveway is steep and the road to the house dark and windy, so they aren’t kidding about the potential need for AWD. Would certainly rent this property again.

This was our first time at Deep Creek Lake and it won’t be our last. We had a terrific time vacationing in the lovely well-appointed Sundance and enjoyed boating on the beautiful lake. The ease throughout the reservation, check in and check out process was greatly appreciated!

Great Christmas gathering

Our family, near and far, gathered at Deep Creek Lake to celebrate Christmas together. When we first walked through the door we were pleasantly surprised to see that the house had been decorated for Christmas. The home was spacious, comfortable and offered everything but our consumables. We loved the giant dining table where everyone could eat together. No "kids" table needed! The grandchildren loved the pool table and the arcade machine, while I enjoyed having a roaring fire in the fireplace as we sat nearby to play board games after soaking in the hot tub. I'm sorry we could not stay longer. Everyone is eager to return in the summer.
