Equipped with 2 dishwashers, a double convection oven, large fridge, stunning granite counters, and refreshed cabinets this kitchen is designed to impress! New flooring will guide you around the main level and out onto the deck with beautiful views. Venture upstairs to play each other in a game of pool or try to beat the high score on any of the 3,000 games on the Ms. Pac-Man arcade machine. Hang out in the lower den with easy access to the outdoor hot tub or indoor sauna. Veg out anywhere in the home and enjoy your favorite streaming channels on the multiple HD smart TVs. This is our second stay at this house among multiple vacations at DCL. The community itself--Waterfront Greens has a good location and nice amenities--we enjoyed the CARC membership on two occasions, and the tennis/pickle ball courts, and lots of lake time. The house had plenty of room for our extended family (25 total) at meal time and in general. The kitchen table is large--12-14 can eat at it easily. The kitchen was well-stocked and drawers/cabinets were helpfully labelled. The proximity to the lake was good--a two-minute walk, so not too far, but not too close for wandering kids. The deck runs the length of the back of the house and was shaded in the afternoon/evening, so it worked well for eating dinner outside, including the screened in section. The house does need some maintenance--notably splinters on the deck and the slider doors.

Our family has stayed at several houses at DCL, and definitely enjoyed this one. Waterfront Greens is a good community with nice amenities. The house had great overall space for our extended family, great kitchen lay-out, and the kitchen was well-stocked and labelled. Two fridges, plus two mini (dorm) fridges were handy. The yard was good-sized and we used it to play kickball and other games, and enjoyed fires in the fire pit most nights. The proximity to the lake was good--not too far, and also not too close for wandering kids. The deck runs the length of the back of the house--and was shaded in the afternoon/evening, so it worked well for eating outside. The house does need some maintenance--screen doors, ceiling fans, splinters on the deck.

Great house! Kitchen was well equipped and included two dishwashers, two coffee pots, a Keurig, one double sink and a single sink with disposal on the big island. The separate apartment over the garage was excellent for a couple with smaller kids.

Great Space in Need of TLC

The size and layout of the house worked well for our large family. The two refrigerators and dishwashers were needed and were put to good use throughout the week! Just about everyone took advantage of the CARC pass at the community college to workout, play basketball, or swim in the pool. We also rented a boat for a couple of days since the home included dock space. We might suggest that the owners include a ladder on the dock for easy exit from swimming in the lake. Since the house is set back from the lake, and although it was a bit of a walk, it afforded a big back yard for the kids and additional privacy. On the down side, the inside of the house is looking tired and in need of some attention, especially the kitchen. The other area of concern for us was the back deck, which doesn't look to have been well maintained. Splinters and bare feet were a problem, and we advised all to wear shoes on the deck. Only the front burners of the gas grill were operational. Despite some of the home conditions, we enjoyed our time at the lake.

Loved the large kitchen table, having 2 dishwasher was a huge bonus along with 2 refrigerators and a mini fridge! The little "apartment" above the garage worked well with our young teenagers to have their space but still be with us! Overall loved this place and cannot wait to stay there again!

The bedroom configuration of Wine and Roses, really works for our group, so we have rented it for a number of years, Dr. Martin Luther King birthday weekend. For the money we are spending to rent it for 3 nights, the house could use some maintenance work. The condition has gone down since we first rented the house in 2019. It wouldn't take a lot of work to bring it back u to the standard we were used too.

Wine and Roses meets our needs, for the number of bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, plenty of play space for the children and nooks to get away for a quiet time to read. The house needs a few repairs to make the winter weekend more comfortable, like insulating the sliding glass doors, fixing inoperable TV remotes, replacing burned out lights and bolstering the living room sofa. With a little tender loving care, Wine and Roses could be the perfect home to share with friends and family on a wintery weekend.

This home really brought our family together - check in was seamless and the same for check out. I’m saving this house to come again. It’s about 15 minutes away from wisp resort which was perfect! Really felt warm here - thank you for the hospitality!

Great place, but it is definitively not lake front as advertised

Wonderful and large accommodations, but the house is advertised as lake front when it is clearly not. There are 4 houses between this house and the lake that are obviously lake front in juxtaposition to this house, which I would classify as lake access. There is a significant walk down to the dock that wasn't terrible but a little burdensome with coolers. I could imagine this could be a little bit more of a struggle for families with kiddos and lots of lake equipment.

By definition, "Lakefront Homes" are any home where the homeowner owns the land from the property to the lake and there are no roadways between them. At Wine and Roses, the land is owned from the property to the lakefront with no roadways in between and so that is why it's designated this way. My family rented this house to be together for my son’s wedding and avoid too much contact with strangers. There we’re 15 of us, and there was ample space to move about freely and social distance. The house was in good shape, clean, and we enjoyed the hot tub and the sauna. I would consider this house again for rental.

This home is always lovely and well equipped. There are a few maintenance issues that need to be addressed. The shower over the garage is leaking. The downstairs bedroom opposite the hot tub has signs of mold in the bathroom and the bathroom seems to stay moist all day long.

Our overall experience staying at Wine and Roses was a positive one. It accommodated our group very well. The bedroom configurations worked perfectly, with the use of 2 of the rollaways. The sauna was a nice addition to the hot tub. The houses are nicely spaced for a very quiet experience. Even though the televisions are not high def and some of the furnishings need to be repaired or replaced, we will rent Wine and Roses again.

We enjoyed our time at Wine and Roses. There were 5 couple and 8 children. We could have easily fit an extra family. There was a pull out sofa bed and 3 roll away beds that were not advertised. With 2 refrigerators and 2 dishwashers entertaining was easy. There was plenty of room for the kids and adults to socialize. It was a great place for your money. It is a longer drive to Wisp if you are looking to ski, but it was perfect for us because we only had a few skiing and they did not mind the longer drive in exchange for such a nice house. There are great walking/jogging trails nearby. I am sure it would be a fantastic place in the summer.
