DESCRIPTION:
It’s time to plan your next vacation here at Wood-Fore Reserve! The home sits on top of Wisp mountain providing a sense of serenity but also conveniently near local attractions. After a day of travel arrive to the home where you are welcomed by floor to wall wood work providing the ultimate picturesque cabin.  Begin your morning with a hot cup of coffee out on the back deck, embracing the fresh mountain air and the filtered view of Hole 4 of the Lodestone Golf Course. In the summer, rent a boat and spend the day cruising on the lake. Don’t forget to check out the array of restaurants along Route 219, or head to Deep Creek Fun Zone for an afternoon of mini golf or laser tag. There’s plenty to do in the Winter as well! Pack up your snow gear and hit the slopes where there are numerous trails to choose from! While you’re there make sure to go to the four seasons Wisp Resort. Come back and relax in the warm bubbles of the hot tub or sit in front of the fire place, roasting s’mores on the enclosed back deck. Take advantage of the pool table and enjoy a family game night! Beautiful house

The house was beautiful and clean but there wasn’t any internet. We were told the owner didn’t pay the bill, and then told that IT would stop by to check on the issue but that didn’t happen. No house phone either. One hotspot was available but it wasn’t enough to stream or use phones for the internet.

Overall, we had a good time. Five college friends now in our 60’s. Beautiful setting. Very clean. Wonderful living room set up with big screen TV. Large deck with four person, hot tub. Quiet location near golf course. We appreciated and enjoyed access to the community pool at the college. When we arrived on Sunday, the hot tub was not working. Thankfully, someone came out first thing, Monday, and it worked great the rest of our stay. The Internet was another problem. Apparently the Internet had been turned off and had to be turned back on. This occurred by Wednesday which was very inconvenient. Please be sure to note that all cleaning products, paper products, toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags need to be brought. The stove and oven worked insufficiently and the refrigerator, froze our food. The outside grill needs some tlc. The burners did not cook evenly. Water pressure also weak in showers.

Hello John! We would like to reach out with a few updates! The internet issue has been resolved, it was a fluke with billing and the homeowner has permanently remedied this concern. Also the outside grill is in working order as well as the stove and the fridge. Our property management team has gone out and assessed these concerns and confirmed that everything is properly functioning. We would also like to mention that we do provide our welcome bag with a few toiletry items, however we do list what we do and do not provide in our terms and agreements, pre arrival emails as well as list them on our website. Lastly the owner would like to inform you that he is currently working with a plumber to increase the water pressure throughout the home and hopefully this will occur soon! We loved the location, it wasn't to far from the lake and activities but far enough out that we were able to see a lot of deer and it was very quiet. It was our first time at Deep Creek and we really enjoyed the decks and fireplaces.

Cozy weekend away

Had a great time at this cozy cabin! We made it a long weekend and got to spend most of our time sitting out on the deck watching all the wildlife come by. Lake was a short drive away as was the water rapids. We would definitely consider this home again!

House was very clean and exactly as described. Our 2 families that we traveled with had plenty of room to spread out. Kitchen had more than enough utensils and pans. Furniture was good quality and in good condition. Would recommend to someone else.

There was no salt, no soap, no basics available. None of the amenities that you would expect. High cleaning fees. They said they would send salt, pepper, etc., but never followed through. You also have to sign a contract with a third party agency and they won't let you stay without it. Not very user friendly.

We do want to mention that list the items we do and do not provide in a few different places including the T&C (contract), booking confirmation, and pre-arrival emails, as well as indicating in the property description before booking. If owners choose to provide any extra items then that is entirely up to them and varies from home to home. We also apologize for your concern with the 3rd party contract, we follow a specific rental policy for all of our guest's safety and to keep all of our rentals organized for a smooth rental process. The home is laid out nice, but it is tired after 4 years since being built. Needs some TLC and maintenance. The Hot Tub never got any hotter than 97 degrees. No matter what setting to put it on.

The house was great for our family Thanksgiving weekend. The kitchen was fully equipped and the beds were comfortable. The only negative thing is the water pressure in the master bathroom was extremely low. We would definitely book this place again.

This was our 6th trip to Deep Creek in the last few years and this house was our absolute favorite. The golf course view in the woods is quiet and peaceful. The house had tons of entertainment built in-pool table, hot tub, books and games. We used them all. The furniture was very comfortable and perfect for a large group. Bathrooms were large with plenty of room to share. We have already looked at future dates to come back and stay at Wood-Fore Reserve again.

We loved our stay at Wood-Fore Reserve and hope to make a tradition of staying at this home. The furniture is perfect for small conversations or large family gatherings. The fireplaces were gorgeous and kept things cozy. The home is well stocked, and the layout is extremely accommodating. I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful home!
