My family and I started out as a group of 16 of us staying at Highland Manor for the weekend. Lots of delicious group meals cooked together…plenty of space to move around, fun board games played in great room and den, morning coffee in the sun on our back deck, volleyball games in the indoor pool and relaxing in the Hot tub. We had such a good time…
My sister and I decided to extend our trip to stay mid week. Equally wonderful time -just on the quieter side. A special “thank you” to Deep Creek winery for staying a bit past closing for us. Not only were wines good, the pear butter we bought there was the perfect accompaniment for the Goat Cheese we were having with dinner (Yay Firefly Farms). Hanging out on our front porch at Exceeding and walking around the Pinnacle development were highlights for us…plus we toured Frank Lloyd Wright’s masterpiece Fallingwater -WOW…and under an hour away.
I can’t wait to come back to Deep Creek !!!!
